Attacked by a pretty cat (Scary lucid dream)

Last night I got lucid after recognizing there was no gravity. I saw a cute, little cat and gently grabbed him and started caressing him. Then he bit my hand. At first I didn't feel much pain but I tried to put him back on the floor but he wouldn't open his mouth. So I started moving him but no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of him. Then I started to feel a very strong pain. The stupid animal was destroying my muscles with his teeth, blood started to sprout from my hand. At that point the pain was almost intolerable, I had to crush his head with my hand until his eyeballs blew away from their place. Then my vision fade to black and I woke up totally terrified. It was scary as hell. Has anybody have similar bloody dreams? What can I do to stop things attacking me in a lucid dream? On the other hand, it was the first lucid dream in which I made a person appear by simply shouting her name which made me very proud of myself.

Kiss it. If you show it affection it should stop attacking you. If you can't you can always kill it like you did, after all, it's not a real kitty. You killed a kitty? You bastard. Learning to hone your flying skills will probably also help, that way if you get attacked you can always just fly away.

Yes i have. Cats and dogs have both attacked me before in lucids.

I've never had cats, but I did have monkeys trying to attack my face once. That was fun. =)
