      Emotion in first LD

      Was anyone's first lucid dream blurry and emotionless or was it just mine? I hope they get better.

      Well, i have never had a LD yet. But i know a few things. If you lose vividness or it gets blurry, try rubbing your hands or touching the ground. I hear alot of good results from this. Good luck

      I just had my first one a couple of days ago, and it was blurry/emotionless, too.

      But I didn't try any of the standard clarity techniques(/facepalm), and I tried to stay objective so excitement wouldn't prematurely wake me up.
      And it happened to be very late in my sleeping schedule, right after I woke from it, it was too late to try to go back to bed.

      Spinning around helps too, or so I hear. It has something to do with the sensation of spinning on an axis.

      Yeah I heard that too and I did it in my dream but it didn't make it more vivid, it just changed the scene.
