Shorty but goody

I haven't been on this site for a while nor have I really been trying to have lucid dreams lately but two nights ago I had one which rekindled my interest. I was in Spain with a few friends (I studied abroad there last year) and I was walking in an open area with someone when suddenly I realized I was dreaming. I don't remember anything out of the ordinary causing me to realize this but somehow I knew. I wanted to make sure so I looked at my hands and my right hand was missing a thumb and index finger. I got excited at this point but still remained in the dream, lucid. I felt it going away so I closed my eyes and spun in place, when I opened my eyes everything was super clear and I was excited that I was actually lucid dreaming. I told the guy I was with to watch me and I floated up about 15 feet in the air and then drifted slowly back to the ground. Then I wasn't lucid anymore and I don't remember anything after that. I woke up in the morning and remembered the whole experience very clearly. Now I want to try doing reality checks during the day so I can hopefully have another one that's a little longer. It was still really cool though even though it was short, at least I know what it feels like to fly now!
