My first ludic dream, sort lame, but w/e

So last night I had my first lucid dream, I went to sleep attempting WILD but i know I fell asleep before I got anywhere. Althought there was something about last nights WILD that i never did. And thats opening your eyes after every breath. But Im not sure if it was that that did it for me.

I remember I was walking down a street with lots of people when something in my head just said "IM dreaming" and everything was lucid, i shook my hands not wanting to lose control and I tried going around in circles. I don't remember a lot of it but I know I was lucid since someone tried to attack me and I rose off the ground and they freaked out. Then I decided I was going to try the task of the Month but went on trying to do something else. Then I went into another dream that wasnt lucid.

It didnt last very long but it hopefully the beginning to more frequent lucid dreams.

Is it normal or common to not remember a lucid dream? I forgot to write it down but there wasn't much to remember as soon as I woke up from my other dreams.

Yes, it does happen. If I don't write down my dreams (lucid or not) as soon as I wake up or before I slip into another dream.. I often lose a lot of the details.

LOL!! Waking up that early in the morning can be a little disorienting!
