It goes to show how intense and life-like dreams really are. I wouldn't worry about it though. Ive often woken up quite shaken or disturbed from a dream, and sometimes the feeling wont rub off all day. And if you experienced your mom dying in your arms, that's some intense shit. I see how you could wake up crying. Now go give your mom a big hug and tell her you love her

Maybe someday when you'll cross the street with your mom, you'll have a feeling of deja-vu so you'll be able to save your mom's life

Death in dreams only means change or the ending of a certain thing in ones life. Only you can really interpret your own dreams but I can give you something to think about.

Is your mom going into a new career, having another baby, getting remarried????.. anything in her life that is changing which makes the old way of her doing something ending? Think about that.

Death is actually good in a dream when it's not precognitive (and in your case I'm positive it's not but it wouldn't hurt to tell your mom to be careful crossing the street.

Food: you both were eating in the dream before the accidental death right? What does food mean to you? Nourishment, comfort? Link that to the symbol of Death (something ending to something new can begin).

      I hope this helps.

yes dreams are pretty life-like arent they. i dont know about others, but in my dreams im a lot more emotional and open than i am in real life and i've experienced a lot. love, crying, warmth, fear, hate..etc.

I had a dream once and towards the end I felt like everyone hated me and so I went into a corner and cried. I woke up and, still feeling that way and cried for a few more minutes before I realized that it was just a dream.... Stupid memories from 3rd grade..... *shudder*

Dude this is totally normal. I wake up crying one I realize that im only dreaming when I see my cat in my dreams. You see my mom put him down on me. I never got to say good bye and he was my best friend. But when you feel strogn about some thing like love, fear and other strong emotions can have a huge toll on us. Don't worry about it, if you supress your feelings long enough, you will eventually need a cry, even if it is from a dream!
      I think im lost!!!....

I was very sad, I had a dream that was time compressed and lasted many weeks, and i had friends, and everything in it.. when i woke up. I was sad cause it was all gone.. took me almost a week to stop thinkin about it.

Thats thw worst. Waking up after a great dream to find out its not real.... But the good part is you can bring it all back in a lucid dream! I believe someone joined the forum asking us to help him meet his dream girl again
