Waking up from a lucid dream

I had a lucid dream this morning (CAR LUCIDS! They are so annoying ) and while I was waking up I payed extremely close attention to what was happening. Just once I was able to get vibrations and somehow enter another lucid dream, but no, this time I just woke up. It seems my vibration theory is at threat again, because I think vibrations are the transion period of tactile sensations from dream to reality and vice versa. Well I didn't feel anything, but I know there must have been a transion of some sort because I was holding an Mp3 player in the dream and could feel it. And this happens every time when you wake up doesn't it? There is no vibrational sensation, so why does it only happen some times and not others, what does it mean?

Vibrations are a common symptom of sleep paralysis. But it doesn't always happen.
That time you entered another lucid dream it sounds like you achieved a DEILD. Its a quick form of WILD. Check it out here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=36281

Basically you don't move at all while your waking up and you'll go back into sleep paralysis very quickly and then enter a dream directly.

Wow, thanks! I didn't know that it was a known method, I'll look it up. But the fact that we obviously don't feel vibrations in this transion period means that they can only be explained by something else; I'll try not to stress over it too much but if I don't know the answer to something it pisses me off something chronic...
