      First WILD and Something Odd

Well, I had two lucid dreams the other night and I just decided to post something now. The first was DILD. In it I had very good lucidity, which I tried to use dream control in with decent (but not exactly great) results. I was running to my school and when I got there my lucidity went haywire. I went about regular dream stuff until, unlike normally, I realized I was dreaming yet again. I got up and said, "I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to keep me from being lucid!" A near by teacher answered this saying, "So what if I am? It's against the rules." She stood against the rails, looking defeated and sad after that. With a rudeness I would normally never have while awake, let alone express, I thought to her, "Bitch." I don't even normally swear, but anyways, she charged at me and I backed into a school doctor (my age, so of course we don't have her in real life) office, as the doctor left. The teacher sicked this doctor on me with a sword and, needless to say, without good dream control I couldn't defend myself. When I loss lucidity from the sword to the head, I went back about regular dream stuff untill I awoke.
I awoke, went back to sleep after awhile, and reawoke after that. When I went back to sleep this time I had my first WILD(well I had a WILD in a dream once and did in fact have lucidity in that dream, but that doesn't count.) I had hypnagogic imagery of the main scenes of the dream in reverse. When I got to the beginning, I remember saying, "It's real now!" I of course new it was a dream, but that was the term I used. I had better dream control this time, I believe because my confidence was so much greater. I was in a turquoise house with a dome top. The dome was devoted to a trampoline (according to the Fresh Prince and my little cousin((who has missing teeth in real life, but in this had them more like a hillbilly than a kid)), but I thought it was to small so I stretched the walls and ceiling, and in the process stretched the paintings and made the trampoline bigger. I jumped on the trampoline and went through the ceiling, only to fly back down to the road(fuzzy but I think this was it.) I found myself walking with my sister to a store(also turquoise.) I got there and I manifested a one million (puts pinky on lip) dollar bill. We looked around and found mini-screw drivers and wrenches, along with a birdhouse skateboard on for $15. My sister left, saying she'd be back. The scene changed from a shop to an apartment (similar to the shop) with the same people from the shop in the same spot. I tried to manifest a weapon (spidey senses tingling) and felt a pressure in my head along with a feeling similar to a headache. The shop owners then say, "Don't bother trying that stuff here." My lucidity then goes haywire and some non-lucid stuff happens.
So I'd like to hear what you think about lucidity being against the rules in my school, the apartment that deals pain if you try to use dream control, and my dreams in general. If you would like me to talk about the non-lucid parts, just ask.
Hope that wasn't too long, and that those who do read it enjoyed it.

As to it being "against the rules" maybe you have a grudge against a particular rule or two at your school and it's carried over to lucid dreaming. Or, have you been cheating on a game or something (I'm not saying you are) and your subconscious is trying to tell you that what you did was against the rules? Just a suggestion.

As to the apartment that deals pain, that might kind of be the same thing, your subconscious telling you that you're trying to do something you're not supposed to do. Or maybe it's just an off night. I hope things go better.

I think now you need to learn your control so next time some asshole tells you its against "the rules" you can shove those rules up thier ass. Altthough it looks like you had some good control in the next dream. Cool dreams, congratulations.

I don't really break rules . In fact my friends are annoyed by how smart I am and how rarely I do stuff that is either against the rules or just bad ethics in general. I think it is that either my subconcious doesn't like me lucid and controlling(doubtful) or that the dream characters don't like me threatening there reality they were meant to play out. I agree that I need more control . I hate my lack of control, but it depends. Sometimes I have barely any control at all and sometimes (probably the first being that WILD )I can do anything. I think that maybe having my first WILD and having two lucid dreams in one day is what caused me to have that control, because of the confidence such a thing accompanies. I don't really know, what do you think my problem with dream control is?

Exactly, show your mind who's boss.

You probably just need practice. Work your way into them and slowly break bigger rules. I've got a question: Can you fly?

I can levitate if I flap my arms like a mad man. But I've only really tried the one time. Besides that, not really. I may have once but I'm not sure.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's not my first lucid dreams. I've had around fifteen. The second one is my first WILD though. I realize I could fight without a weapon, but I wanted to work on my dream control anyways (which payed off in the WILD) and a weapon gives alot of confidence.

Hmm don't worry about it then. Just give it more time. Try flying first when you get the chance, it's probably the easiest to remember.

      Continue the effort....

I'm not new to Lucid Dreaming, I began my adventure just before 1970 when I became an avid reader of Carlos Castaneda. Dreaming awake was not achieved until some point in 1974...Since then I have had both fascinating as well as traumatic experiences...Once on a World Cruise when returning from the crack between the Worlds I narrowly missed going over board by six inches...My most pleasant experience was with my buddy dreaming together...He was in France and I was in Berkeley, California...We were experimenting with transcommunication and successfully recorded (and sent) the same exact experience with the exception of one other being (that he had in his experience). We continued this dreaming together for five years. He died but was able to reach me fifteen minutes before his unexpected death in a very powerful communication. I was in North Carolina he was in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
I have been to this web site before but have just returned as I am introducing a new apprentice to Lucid Dreaming.

      Thanks for the welcome,
      Ron
