Finally an extended LD + 1st DC conversation

Had been trying to have a WILD all morning but managed to have a DILD instead... Started off at my mothers house, when i realized that the bathroom area was like it was 5 years ago.(It's radically different now). I went outside and tried to hover immediately but then stopped myself because i realized i was too excited. I calmed down and tried spinning to ground myself, but it weird, when i started spinning it was like the world started spinning as well, countering my spin and making it seem like i was standing still. I tried saying "increase clarity", but i realized that everything was already incredibly vivid. I hovered up over my old town, my flying was much better than it had ever been before, finally i could sustain flight!! I used all sorts of methods for flying; hovering, superman, lighter than air and even swimming(lol). Everything was SO VIVID. I was stoked. I flew a few hundred meters down the road, and somehow it had transformed from a brilliant blue-skyed day to nighttime, although i hadn't noticed the transition at all. The scene was different, there were police and fire engines etc everywhere as if there had just been some sort of accident, not to mention throngs of people. When i saw the people something clicked in me and i thought : OMG, time to talk to a dream character. I talked to one guy who didn't really make much sense. Then i saw someone i knew, a guy called Charlie, and said to him, "Surely you will say something interesting". He did. "You are what we call 'malignant malania'(malahnia). Do you know how many people are going to fight you today? (Said as if fight meant something different, something good)." I looked at him quizzically, so he said in a well-consider-this kinda tone. "Well i'm the 15 millionth. We all want your knowledge" I was laughing, not only had i just had my first DC conversation, he had said something bizarre. I recognized the person sitting next to him, and said to him, "Hey man whats up". He didn't seem to recognize me, and said, "Hey man, david was it?" I was like, "No man its Danny", while laughing. I remember thinking that he should know my name because he was essentially just part of my mind, part of me, and the situation seemed kinda comical. I flew off again, i remember Charlie saying "Watch out for the building". I flew down the street admiring the scenery. I was flying over side of a mountain, running my hand through the leaves of the treetops. To my left was the ocean against a backdrop of the most beautiful night sky i could ever have imagined. There were a few lines of orange lights along the horizon for some reason also. When i saw the water i wanted to fly across it while touching the water with my hand, but when i tried i fell into the water. I think this is because this had happened last time i was in a lucid dream. I tried to hover out but i felt an electric shock jolt though my body. This led straight to a false awakening. In this FA I grabbed my laptop and started writing about my dream. Then i woke up for real, and pretty much did the same thing again. Lol sorry that was so long....anyone want to interpret what the DC said? I don't even know what 'malania' means, it might not even be spelt like that....

Lol well it wasn't really my first, just my first decent length dream, where i actually used techniques to maintain it and make the most of it. I also did some research on what the DC said to me. I found this Definitions of melania on the Web: * is Greek for "darkness" or "blackness". O_o hmmmm..... Definitions of malignant on the Web: Very dangerous or virulent, causing or likely to cause death. Cancerous cells that can invade other parts of the body. Tending to become progressively worse with the potential to cause death, ie tumors.

After reading the definitions posted, it's almost like "black death", really. Sort of sounds like 15 million are fighting FOR you. Almost like as if they are talking about your white blood cells and immune system fighting off a disease. Who knows? Maybe you've got something that you don't know about. Even in some of the most nonsensical DC conversations, they can still make sense. It's just like we've heard them wrong or something. Either way, there'd be no harm in getting a checkup. They might be warning you of something that you don't know about. I've been warned about getting something in one of my lucid dreams before, and it ended up happening on the exact date that I was given in the dream.

Yeah, sounds kinda like the same root we get Melanin from. The pigment that makes your skin dark. Makes sense.

I've got a dream dictionary that is quite good for deciphering the meanings behind certain things that pop up in dreams. You can look up everything from "donut" to "squelch control"....whatever that is.

Lol sorry that was so long....anyone want to interpret what the DC said? I don't even know what 'malania' means, it might not even be spelt like that.... First of all, congratulations! Sounds like a cool one. Regarding the above quote. Everyone has their own views on this kind of thing, I just wanted to offer that perhaps there's no need to waste any time trying to interpret what he said. Sometimes DCs make more sense than other times, but there's a general tendency for them to be as incoherent and unpredictable as the dreams themselves. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. Also I just wanted to comment on something I found funny: I flew off again, i remember Charlie saying "Watch out for the building". I just thought this was amusing because it reminds me of my first extended-length lucid dream, in that the DCs seemed to find my flying to be rather unremarkable. In my dream, I became lucid while talking to a friend of mine, but upon doing so I decided to just ignore him and fly out the window. He said in a slightly offended tone, "Fine, just fly away while I'm talking to you."

Also I just wanted to comment on something I found funny:I just thought this was amusing because it reminds me of my first extended-length lucid dream, in that the DCs seemed to find my flying to be rather unremarkable. In my dream, I became lucid while talking to a friend of mine, but upon doing so I decided to just ignore him and fly out the window. He said in a slightly offended tone, "Fine, just fly away while I'm talking to you." Lol yeah thats the exact impression i got when he said it, like me flying was the most natural thing in the world. I think i actually laughed out loud in the dream when he said it because of this irony. And your right, sometimes you shouldn't read much into it, but i also think its rather interesting sometimes to try interpret it, to discover the bizarre meanings they could have.

Dude. I was reading the paper today. "Malignant melanoma" was in there, and I thought immediately of this post you'd made. Maybe that's what your DC was talking about. Got any strange moles or anything? Maybe they are trying to warn you about skin cancer. "Watch out for the building" may mean to watch out for the development of such things, rather than an actual building.

Wow, I'm so dumb, I didn't even think of melanoma instead of melania/malania etc. And i do have a mole like thing on my back, its pretty small but I've always thought I should get it checked out. Seems like it's about time I really do get it checked out after all. Thanks alot for the post, I'll post back after i get it checked out.
