      1st Lucid Dream!!!!!

      Hey Guys!
Had my first lucid dream last night!
      This is how it happened;
I was in a class room, at my new school. Someone from my old school was sitting behind me, bagging me about being a nerd and stuff. Then I figure, wait, what the heck, this guy doesnt even go to my school!
I'm then lucid, so I try to do some reality checks. I did the one where u block your nose and try to breathe, and the one where you block your throat and try to breathe, both were successful (proving I was in a dream) but I didnt quite believe them!
Next, I picked up my sister from school with my dad, and I told them about how I am in a dream, and what should I do, and they were both telling me to do reality checks (they would never help me in real life!). I said I had, but I don't believe them, almost too good to be true.
      Thats all I remember!
      What do you guys think?

      Damn, that's awesome!

Glad to hear you had a lucid. Next time you can try even more reality checks so that you can prove yourself once and for all that you're dreaming. You could try putting your index finger through your hand, or even better... try to fly.

If you start to levitate, you know for sure that you're dreaming... then you can let the fun begin without any worries that you may not be really dreaming.

Keep up the good work... hopefully you'll be having many more lucids soon.

p.s. you should add another line on your sig for DILDs (Dream Induced Lucid Dreams, that is, regular lucid dreams), and raise the count on that to 1.

Best thing is that DC's seem to be copies of yourself

Very funny that you asked your dad about it and he told you to do a RC

Got any plans for future lucids? Goals are nice to have and interesting to hear.

Ben, congratulations on your first LD.. and how cool is it that your sister and dad were helping you (especially since you stated that they would never help in real life)!

Now that you KNOW lucid dreams are possible, may you have many more and may they only get better!

      Thanks elseadragon and clairity!
No, Elseadragon, I have no plans atm, apart from flying obviously!
Clairity, I was so pumped and suprised, after trying for so long, I was doubting I would ever have one!
      Thanks for the replies all!

thats happened to me a few times, where I thought I was in a dream but wasn't sure because it seemed so real. Now I've set my mind to it that if I ever say "this is a dream" I have to believe it and carry on. I always try for time checks...clocks, watches, or asking people what time it is and then asking them again a few seconds later. Usually its different, way different. Good luck, you are on the right track.
