This has sort of happened to me, only to a different degree. I'll try jumping but I won't be able to get over a certain height. EVERY single time I've tried to fly, this has happened. I can't really offer any remedy though, other than to just tell yourself to break through the barrier. |

this has happened to me alway.... i was flying realfast upwards <like i had a rocket up my ass> |

I find that it takes a large amount of concentration to keep airborne...if I lose it I fall to the ground fairly slow (as not to be injured, I suppose). But the fact remains that as long as I go all out and perceive where I'm going, chances are I'll get there. Try thinking of what's ahead of you- if your flying straight up, eventually you'll be in space. It's details that go a long way for me. |

Yeah, I think that it has something to do with a mental barrier that your brain doesn't want to cross. In flying videogames, there's always the invisivle wall at the top of the map, and that idea that's stuck in my head prevents my from going high too. I just feel some force pushing me back at some point, but not all the way to the ground. |
