dream hiccups

After a long dream session i catch myself waking to a reality of what i like to call dream hiccups--it seems as though every thing i do that day reminds me of my dreams--but just on the cusp-- i usally have very good dream recall--but one of these hiccup days is different--i get the sensation that i am remembering flashes from recent and old dreams--like a record skipping--but i cannot put them together linearly like i normally can-- just flashes and a feelig like i am almost remembering the stram of the dream-- i also usually have a headache with these hiccup days--but then i always get headaches if i sleep too hard. any one else had a similar experience?
