Once in my dream, I was told I was in a dream by my dad. Before then I had no idea I was but when he did, I managed to gain lucidcity for a bit It happened a few years ago but I thought it was a bit odd someone in your dream telling you it's a dream..

It's happened to me. I had a random DC come up to me and go "Hey! Lucid dream!" Once the words "YOU ARE LUCID DREAMING" flashed across the room like a screensaver and that pulled me into one. I don't think it's uncommon. That's really helpful, though, if you think about it. You didn't have to worry about RCs or WILDS and the like. ;D
