Has this ever happened to you?

Hi. First of all excuse me for my bad english.

Well... tonight I had a very strange LD experience (firs after a few months).

I woke up at around 4 am for a brief moment and went back to sleep almost immediately.
I had a strange feeling of awareness and i did not know if i am asleep or awake. I got out of bed and went to toilet. On the way i tried the nose RC and it worked even too well. I couldnt fell my head at all and my hands could go straight through it. I immediately knew im dreaming and got excited but managed to control myself. I could walk, jump and everything. There was only one problem. I was completely blind. I tried to imagine going to a brighter room but it didnt help. I simply knew, that my eyes were closed and i tried to force open them with no sucess. I even imagined that i am behind a dense curtain and tried to move it away. Nothing helped. I again tried really hard to open my eyes and it kinda worked... well I managed to open my real eyes and realised i was awake. I tried to fall back asleep and got all the way to HI, but no further. I later realised that i forgot to do the "clarity now" technique but i doubt it would work.

What was really interesting is that my lucidity level was like 100 %!!!! I knew exactly that i'm dreaming and could walk, jump and move my hands with no problem. I only had problems with my eyes. It was like my eyes were still awake and i was staring at my closed eyelids. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

      p.s. :

When I realized Im dreaming, I heard some dream sound. The thing is that my brain intensified that sound to almost uncomprehensible level. The sound was so loud that I (fully lucid) thought my head will literaly explode. The pain than slowly went away. I think this it isnt dangerous but I am curious if it happened to anyone else also.

      Thanks for help.

Many people have difficulty when first experienceing lucidity with dream blindness. Try seeing through your eyelids. That usually fixes the problem. I have had good luck with instead of trying to see just using my other senses. Touch things. Concentrate on how they feel. Eventually my dream sight always returns on its own. Just stay calm and try to not worry about being blind. Just go on with the dream.

The experience of uncomprehensibly loud, painful noise is also common. It will go away.

Sounds like an OBE experience to me. I've been reading books by Robert Monroe. Monroe describes his lucid dreams and OBEs with incredible detail. He says that the most difficult skill to master is "seeing" with your astral body. I've had two astral experiences. In both of them I had diffuculty seeing. I think my brain filled in some of the missing pieces (just like it does with our visual blindspot and optical illusions) because I saw my room (which I was exploring)...curiously. During my experience I thought two little girls were sitting on my dresser staring at me. I have two lifelike porcelain dolls on my dresser. I also thought that my mom was asleep in my bed. My mom and I look alike, so I probably thought it was my mom, when the person in my bed was actually me. I should note that I did not leave my body consciously. I thought about leaving my body before drifting off into sleep. Then I must have gotten up out of my body sometime during the night. I woke up and immediately realized what had happened.
