      Meeting other dreamers...

Alright, the other day i had summoned up my "dream guide" and once she showed up, i saw a bright light around her which temporarily blinded. when i got my vision back, i see that my "DG" is now a guy and the place i am in is slightly different. It looks like the room i was in has merged with clouds. Like i was in heaven.

My "DG" showed me around the place and he showed me other dreamers and their DG's. They were color coded to. The dreamer was yellow and the guide was pink/red and they were both fairly close to eachother. all the dreamers looked dull, and almost bored. while the guides looked like they were ready for something, like ready to pay attention, or to listen to their dreamer i guess. I also saw one dreamer who looked really sad and was the only one i could remember without a DG.

uh yeah so anyway..what do you guys make of it? do you think they were real dreamers? Was i on some higher, heavenily, plane where dreamers could meet? I'm thinking that it couldve been real, or my mind playing tricks on me...again...

I guess the only way you can know for sure is to find a dreamer from dreamviews and compare notes! Color coded huh? Interesting, I wonder what it means.

Man, I've been trying for months now to dreamscape with my wife or someone from here. It would be so cool.

I've been a little skittish about trying to summon a dream guide. There are a lot of things out there, and not all of them are friendly. Guess I'll continue to go it solo.

I think you were seeing something from a higher level or perspective for sure!! I know this is possible but I've never actually experienced it. So does everyperson have a dreamguide? I was always under the impression that everyone had a dreamguide(s). I've often read that they come to you in dreams in the form of something scary or menacing. It is a test. Once you stand up to or conquer that fear you see that it was just your dream guide all along and afterwards you are allowed into a higher dream realm or perhaps just allowed to see a broader perspective. Most people don't even know of their existance or how to contact them. Tell me everything that you know about them/yours, please....
      Ask and you shall know.

Nightowl. Thats sounds facinating. That would indeed be very cool if they were other dreamers. It is probaly just your mind playing a turd trick on you though. Dream guides are very wierd. The other day my mind was playing tricks on me!!

I summoned a "Dream Guide" a few nights ago in a lucid dream. (To summon them, everytime I just say, "I summon my dream guide" or something like that.) They are different everytime. The last one I remember was very odd. It appeared in a long, flowing dark grey robe. I asked it, "Is there something that you've been trying to tell me?" And it replied in a deep voice, "No!"
I said, "Okay then... why do I keep getting different dream guides?"
It then relplied indignantly, "You can't expect one dream guide to be assigned to one person forever, can you??"
That, I think was the point when I woke up.

      Very, very odd.

you think so huh? I really hope it was and not just my subconcious just making stuff up

Yup, everyone is supposed to have one, but getting them to reveal themselves is the tricky part and finding the real one.

I've often read that they come to you in dreams in the form of something scary or menacing. It is a test. Once you stand up to or conquer that fear you see that it was just your dream guide all along[/b]
      That's news to me

this is the first time out of 4 that my dream guide showed me this \"higher plane\" if thats what it really was so...

Tell me everything that you know about them/yours, please.... [/b]
Alright, sure. I have time to spare. I'll try cram as much information as i can. Okay first My DG(dream guide) didnt come to me, i called it in one of dreams.

Now I've conjured up my dream guide 4 times and each time it was somebody different. the first time it was a beautiful egyptian women(she was very elegant, like a queen), the second time it was another women but wore weird clothes(sorta like the future, and she was very cheerful and a wonderful singer), the third time it was some alien version of a women(she by no means looked human, her nose was abnormal, she had extreme case of rosacia, odd eyes and she scared/shocked me, but she changed her appearance a little to viewer friendly), and then the fourth time it was some guy(i cant remember what he looked like) but this guy reminded me of martin lawrence A LOT

Alright the first time i met her, i was in a room/house that had no one living inside. I went into one of the empty rooms and faced towards the door. I raised my hands and said "I want to meet my dream guide" or something like that. Few seconds pass and then i see a shadowy figure coming towards the door. Immediately i am scared and frightented to death because my fears of thinking that it was an alien instead started to take over(i am REALLY scared of aliens). But once the egpytian women came in, i was relieved and excited to meet her. I asked her one personal question. It was not the answer I was really looking for, but it was an impressive answer. Its like one of those answers that doesn't answer your question directly, but indirectly and doesnt really make sense. It was an answer that had to be thought over about. I asked her name, but the dream faded before she could answer

The second time I was in some house again that had a staircase. I summoned my DG and i heard footsteps climbing the stairs. I knew it was her and i waited for her to climb all the way up. I think she had a mask on to but not really sure.anyway she was dressed in a dress. just like a stereotypical princess and she had this goody voice which was sweet. immediately i asked for her name and i think it was "Ardiology" or "ardiologious" something like that. it sounded similar to archeology which she used to help me pronounce the word. Anyway i asked her a question i think about working together or she said something about something, but i cant remember. I also asked her if that was really her, my dream guide, when i met her in the first dream. i cant remember any of her answers though. after that she started to sing and then i felt like singing began to sing with her and my voice was pretty good(i dont sing, i suck at it in reality, but for some reason she made me feel like i wanted to sing). I dont remember what then, but for some reason i went into house(i guess my dream guide left)

The third and fourth time are in the same dream(im a little confused as to what really happened in this one though) Anyway, for some odd reason people were panicking away from me when i became lucid and then i called my DG to come forth, She surprised me when i turned around and she was already there, but as i said above, she was not human, and very ugly. She saw my reaction and tried to make her viewer friendly. After that i was blinded by some heavenly light that was created by her(she doesnt even say anything to me nor do i since i didnt have time at all. The next thing i know, im talking to the 4th DG in the heaven place and he is a very funny character and comical. I like him and he makes me laugh. What struck me though was what he said when i asked him something. I asked him if he could help me become more lucid, helping me think its a dream and pointing out dream signs. he said "No." and i was shocked. I ask him why but he wouldn't say. he kept stalling saying "well you see...because...um...err..i cant because..." etc. Anyway after that he showed me around like said above. I'd also like to note that this DG was different from the others. As you can see he's the only guy of the group, and he was not honest. For example we were at the "heaven" bar and it looks like he stole a couple of jugs of water from the bartender and started drinking it and he was doing something with cards, whcih might suggest gambling. It wsa very odd. Also later on in the dream, i announce that i've been here before but i cant remember where, dreamwise or in reality(i cant remember which one), and the DG said he has to, we then high 5 eachother. After that i saw that the dream was coming to an end and that some kind of force was pulling us two apart from one another. Like I was stuck in some crowd that was going one way the the DG was going the other. Anyway I yelled out "what is your name" and he said his name was Triad. I then laughed some more and told him that he's not martin lawrence(who he reminded me of) in a comical way. We all laughed. I had a fairly good time in that dream =D. Guess he did show me a good time though.

*wipes sweat* WHOO! that's a lot of info. Sorry, but you did ask to tell you everything i knew. Please I encourage you to make any commentationss, questions, suggestions, interpretations, analyzation etc.

Oh yeah and BTW, there is almost NO way of telling if that person is really your dream guide or not. It could be a Dream character pretending to be one, so that's why im going to halt my research on dream guides for now

      Now onto Hezekiah's comments...

Yea, i am totally willing to accept that it was just my mind to. EXACTLY! i just thinking the same thing Hezekiah! Maybe we have more than one? and we are assigned a different once each time. That maybe why we always get one that is ALWAYS different and never in the same form, perhaps we there like jobs . That dream guide sounds grumpy. You know its interesting how he responded negatively. I dont know if you're going to read what i wrote, but i wrote that i asked my DG(who was very funny and nice to me) if he could help me become more lucid, help me realize its a dream, discover dream signs, etc. and the bastard had the nerve to just flat out say \"No.\" I asked why, but he wouldn't give me an answer and kept stalling to give an answer. hope that helps you or adds to your views

      Dream Guides

That was enlightening...as if it had come from O'nus!

I'm curious, though. I have yet to summon a dream guide (since I've only had 2 LDs and they've consisted of trying to retain control), but I was wondering if you could force a DG to take a certain form. Like think of a random person and concentrate very hard on what they look like, then summon the guide. Possibly that way your DG would have the same appearance each time, even if personalities changed in each dream. It's just a thought.

i dont believe in that meeting other people dreams and people having shared dreams

because of the fact that your brain is your brain and your dreams consist of your brain making the images

instead of your brain connecting to some server/dimension when you sleep if this were true then it would be possible but untill that is proven or some any kind of factual info is proven then i wont be able to consider it

You probably did meet real dreamers if you were in the mental plane. In the mental plane you can meet real people and interact with them and help them gain Lucidity.

Hey, I didn't say it was true. I've just heard about it. It makes sense though in some ways. You achieve being in the mental plane in an OOB Experience. Ive never tried it but it sounds cool

EVerywhere is a mental plane since we experience everyhting through our minds. So any plane we experience, is only a mere reflection of what is. We only exist on a mental plane. Or Im the biggest idiot and someone will tell me why
