What a BAD first experience.. this ever happen to you?

alright, so i set my alarm for 3am so i can try the WBTB thing. before 3am while in a normal dream i see a huge bird fly by, and i thought to myself "thats not normal, reality check !!" and i became aware, and hence lucid. so im amazed that i finally achieved it, and about a minute later, i jolt awake to my alarm roaring. i wasnt to happy.

do wbtb sooner so you're less likely to be in a ld and this will rarely happen

Heheh, I'll be the optimist and chime in that, although it was short, you did succeed at attaining lucidity. That's an achievement in and of itself. =]
