      it dont seem possible

      im not sure if its a lucid dream, but the last few nights, i have been dreaming of my dad who died, but he keeps ringing the phone. When i answer he tells me he loves me tho in life he hated me, then i hear screaming and wake up holding my phone to me

      wombat is right, i doubt that is a lucid dream you had, a lucid dream is when you are THERE.
      I guess people are not ready for the whole new world that awaits them.

      Yeah, you can have unusual/weird dreams that aren't lucid

      Well you can interpret this two ways...The first way, this is garbage, nothing more nothing lesss, just a dream... Or you can think of it this way. Your father who "hated" you in real life is sending you a message to show you that he actually loved you. A message from "beyond" which are VERY possible as I myself have had quite a few, some which have saved my life...
      God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...

      telephones in dreams usually mean that they are a message from your subconscious or that they signify something that you may have tried to avoid before because with a phone you always have the option of hanging up and because you aren't talking directly when you use them.

      but then again, I think dreams are usually utter nonsense. A couple nights ago I was playing lacrosse with celery sticks and bubble gum as a jock strap. You tell me that signifies something... right...
      An idea is something you haven't fully considered.

      Well..I was sleeping over my friends house for a week straight (kind of like we hung out so much I just didnt want to go home) Doing the works, eating there sleeping shower ect.. I didnt go back to my house that whole week...Well the last night at the end of the week streek I had a dream I was in my kitchen and I was laying on the floor (go figure) and I smelt something funny, like gas...Well It kept getting stronger and stronger and I got closwer to the oven and discovered it was left on...I woke up imidiatly and got scared.. I went home to check and sure enough, it was on..We found out the next day that my dumb ass brother left it on after making some mini pizzas...That could have killed my whole family...
      God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...
