Epic fail last night

Im posting this because I'm usually pretty good when it comes to realizing that Im dreaming, but yesterday was a huge failure. I was running down the street, racing a friend, and we were going impossibly fast. I thought to myself "How can we be keeping up with the cars?" We were also running for a very long time, much much longer than Im actually capable of doing and I thought to myself "How can I be sprinting for this long?" We were running in a place that resembled an area in GTA 4 and I thought to myself "This place looks familiar...but how did I get here?" I was naked while I was running (nudity is one of my dream signs), and it still didn't click. I'm pretty disappointed in myself lol. Even with all the signs I somehow didn't put it all together. I guess the subconscious can still trick you into believing something obviously wrong.

Yeah i've had a few of those, one i remember particularly involved me on the coast on some floating wooden fencing just at the water edge, dodging a shark. However i just reacted by running to the shore like this was a normal occurrence lol

Hahaha...it's kind of hilarious how much your subconscious can trick you like that...except when you wake up and you're like, "...dammit!"

Had you seen Vanilla Sky or something before going to bed?! I have had too many dreams with an incredible itch. Either it's the feeling the world isn't as bright as it should be or some really, really weird occassion which is occuring. The moments I do manage to see it's all just a dream, I don't even have to do a RC to convince myself!

I use many dream powers in my dreams, though only flight is regular enough to be a dream sign. A few nights ago, I had a dream in which I was teleporting around the setting effortlessly. Lucidity didn't click. Dream powers are not enough to bring me to lucidity.
