      Thank you Dreamviews

Thank you Dreamviews for re-spiking my interest in lucid dreams. After what seems like about a 5 year layover, I have succeeded in having another LD. A DILD by accident I suppose, but nonetheless.

I was on a boat and some tornadoes came and I was protecting a little child. I thought that if I went underwater and stayed as long as possible, I could avoid the tornado. Well I guess I went to deep because I ran out of breath, but when I finally breathed in(underwater, what an unexpected feeling that was), it hit me that I was dreaming. Right away the scene changed to an old rural town. So I decide to fly( I wish I would have thought of something more original) and then I got that feeling. That happiness or bliss that just consumes your body. Well on my first attempt I went about 8 feet up and kind of hovered, then jumped again(I can only imagine what someone already in the air looks like jumping) and went a little farther up. One more thrust and I was gone. The place was beautiful.

I think the excitement got to me and i woke up, I was dead tired and not at my house so I didnt try to get back into it or write it down. I know....bad me.
One little peice of information that is handy to me, is when I woke up, I was on my back, as 80% or more of my LD's from long ago were achieved. Back then I didnt really try to have them, they just happened, and it was most always on my back or slouching on a couch after being very tired. Its just almost impossible for me to go to sleep on my back unless im dead tired. And I dont want to play the deprivation game.

Either way, thank you Dreamviews for getting me back into this, as the feeling of lucid dreaming is like no other. Gotta go pick my brain of any more details I can remember.

Good luck to all of those that are trying, just know that it is worth all of the effort. Just dont stress yourself about it. Ive been working on it every night for 3 weeks now, and last night I didnt have a thought about it when I went to sleep(very tired from being at the races all night) and it happened. So I would suggest to maybe throw in a night or two of not worrying about it every once in a while. Thanks.

Well, as part of the DV forums I can only say you're welcome, and thank you. And congratulations to your LD!
I took a break of all this, for about two weeks. Didn't really take break from dreaming, but from the dream journal. Guess it's time to pick it up again.

And yea, thank you Dreamviews! It's always nice to have the forums where you can get new inspiration

Nice! That sounds like a great LD. I love to breathe underwater in my LDs. It feels so cool.

      DV is a cool place!
