Lucid again!
Man I forgot how awesome it was.
By the way, this was more of a intended lucid dream than a natural, but I wasn't focused on having one that night.
It was a DILD and the longest dream I have ever had (i.e., remembered).
The dream was 90% lucid; I wasn't totally in control and didn't have pin-sharp thought. At the time I did not have my journal and couldn't jot it down, so only remember a handful of information. Don't know if this is normal, but I became lucid on-and-off. I would have a false awakening, do some stuff, and realize I was dreaming. Then I would false-awake again and this would repeat (about 3 times total). The annoying part was how I was tired. In the dream, I was extremely, extremely calm; "Oh right this is a dream. I can do whatever I want. cool." I thought to myself. The only reason I was this calm was because I was sleepy. Just worn out, possibly because I had been dead tired before I went to sleep. After a few seconds of becoming lucid I thought, "I know I should be doing everything and anything I can imagine, but I'm just too tired..." In addition to this, my eyes were half-closed for most of the time (like when you are trying to stay awake but just can't), which made everything not so clear/vivid, but I still was aware of what I was doing.
Of course, I realized I was able to control how sleepy I was, how in-control I was, how shut my eyes were, and all that stuff. I tried screaming out, "INCREASE LUCIDITY," "INCREASE AWARENESS," "INCREASE AWAKENESS," "LUCIDITY!" "I AM AWAKE AND IN CONTROL OF MY DREAM!" and tried sticking my hand in freezing cold water. Each of these was followed with a burst of clarity and vividness that dissipated in a second.
...On the right track. 5 dreams in one night
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks.
