I tried several techniques this morning that i feel would be worth mentioning on here. First, i was LDing ALL morning. Most of it was light, almost dreamlike but i was aware i was dreaming, i just didnt care. Well, one dream was interesting to me, and i remembered this forum and about using comands. I said CLAIRITY NOW really loud in my dream. Amazing. Everthing and everyone stopped, they froze for a second, and it got so real. It was really amazing. I was sitting at a table with 3 people who i didnt know...and i stood up, and decided to try another command, after all, the first one worked great. So i said out loud I CAN FLY. Well guess what, that one worked too. I think the trick is to believe what you say, b/c i believed it would work, and it did. It's weird b/c i can feel when i am losing the clairity in a dream, but i found out re-stating the word clairity regains it. I dont try to control my dream scenario that much as i havent been successfull in that, but most of the time i dont want to , i just go arround and look at the details of the dream, they are so detailed, i can actually use all 5 senses as if i were awake. It is amazing how detailed my mind is, i guess it is b/c i am an artist. I also did use the WBTB method...not for a long time, i got a drink then went back to bed..i actually sorted through my loose thoughts, the ones you have right before falling asleep, and when i found the ones about the last LD i was in, i realized it and used clairity now, and was in the same dream scenario. That is a first for me. It was also interesting that when my husband left for work, i heard while in my LD...him say goodbye, and i maintianed the LD . Wierd, i had 2 connectoins going at the same time. Now if i could make people i want to see appear, i would be in 7th heaven. I think that LDS mostly occur in lighter rem sleep..that is why alot of people do not have them in the middle of the night. I have 99% of mine in the morning, or right after i got up for a second. The trick is to learn how to catch yourself in the loose thoughts state, and then plunge into one and tell yourself you need clairity. It is all in the mind, and believing it will work. You cant force it or try to hard, being relaxed about it is the only way it happens for me. (for all those who are desperately trying) I wrote this b/c i thought my experience might be usefull to someone..This post might only be helpfull to those who can remember to use comands in dreams though. But i hope it helps someone or is at least interesting
