Schitzofrienia and LDs

I often get dreams where i meet some of the personalities/voices i Become/hear durring waking state. So what im thinkin is that schitzofrienia symptoms are merely the subconcoius mind invading into the concoius reality and pssoibly those other personalities floating round my cranium maybe a link to the sub-c, every time i ask them about this they change the subject, whats your take on it. And another thing i was pondering was that how am i ever to know that the personality im in control of is the "right" one, maybe im just one of the "symptoms" and the "real" matt is one of the other voices??????? AHHHH. opinions, comments. Peace

wait, do you have schitzofrienia ? or are you just hearing voices? I'm not too informative on schitozofrienia, but I believe that the dominant personality knows about the recessive personality yet the recessive has not idea about the dominant...? So if you were the recessive personality, you wouldn't know... but once you're dominant personality kicks in you would know that you are the main/dominant voice in control, yet when returning to your recessive you would be clueless...hmm...

It works like this, ill be just going about my day and ill fell a distinct change in thoughts, they start getting faster and seemingly out of my grasp, then they'll change tone, and sooner or later manifesting verbly, and my body moves about uncontrollably at times. i also have other symptoms of schitzofrenia that are similiar to synesthesia(mixed senses), i see sound, but not always just when the voices start up and such. There is this one constantly returning voice, i named him bob after a while, he never really manifest verbly but interupts my train of thought alot. and he is infact aware of my presance. - Peace

i dont really hear voices but more like uncontrollable thoughts sometimes. i can be concentrating onsomething but i hear odd sentances or thought that i didnt think, like thoughts i cant control just pop into what im thinking about. like im having a conversation with myself in my head lol. but the conversation dont really make sence cause im not controlling the thought its one sentence saying one thing then another saying something else. rather strange really, but it dont bother me i kinda think its funny. if it go to where it happened all the time then i would worry but it doesnt. like i could be thinking about what i am going to say to someone, but over the top of what im thinking another thought i didnt put there will go over the top of my original thought. what does anyone else think?

I gave up on the site but my band on the other hand is doing fantastic. We tourd southcali/central cali. and it was briliant. were playing with the last ramone and his tribute band to the ramones in january. were going to get started on our first CD soon, Peace.

Believe it or not stress can cause some of those symtoms if it becomes severe enough. Like a defense mechanism. (Although that seems rather extensive) I myself am fasinated by this topic because I happen to be on medication for Schitzofrienia but it is for a stress related problem - Serequel. Don't be afraid of asking a doctor.

Ahhh *schitzofrienia* *screams* not sure what it really is though...i've had times when i wasn't thinking and it was really silent i would start to hear voices in my head...quite eerie...has happened in my child hood. It would get so bad, that i would have to put music on and concentrate on the music to make them go away, haven't had one in couple years now thank god... sorry about my babbling

that reminded me that same sort of happened to me when i was younger, i would hear whispering in my head. always when it was quiet, and i had to put on music or sing to make them go away. i could never tell what they were saying but i could hear them and i didnt like it. i can remember the last time this happened and it was about 6 years ago now. i didnt like it mainly cause when i could hear the whispering i always had that feeling of being watched and thats what scared me more.

I wish I could hear more voices in my head I know it sounds weird but I love that state between awake and sleeping where I'm able to hear voices quite vividly. I wish I could bring it to my awake state at times.

its fine if you cantrol when you hear it and bring it into your awakened state. but when i hear voices in my head i dont control when they are put there. its weird. it isnt all the time just every now and again. usually happens when i am thinking about something. and sometimes i hear music in my head which i think is cool. if im thinking about something to myself theres sometimes music in the background, a perfect replica of a song or tune, the exact same.but once i realise i can hear it i cant keep it there. With some of the songs i hear in my head i hear the words exactly, but if i wanted to sing the song or even try to think about it i have no idea what the words are. its like my sub conscious playing a recording to me. lol

incubusfunkman do you do any drugs? I work with a Client with realy bad schizophrenia its a degenitive thing so ppl with it eventualy get worse. Just wait till your moods change so much that you start cycling through 5 personalites at a time ive seen it and its not very nice. Or the voices start chewing at your mind accusing you of anything think you feel to be bad. If you do drugs id stop it. Its an imbalance too. you never know you may not have it bad or at all stress is a common thing. Once I was so stressed I couldnt string together words outta my mouth and I lost my eye sight briefly because of it. Stress is a wonderful thing.

I used to breath the world of random intoxicants, spacificly LSD. I stoped as what could be said as recently. but i could see what your getting across.

wow you opened doors into the subconcious.... like peyote does. do you every listen to the dialoge? I wonder if thats why not more of us get these special powers, maybe because we would react like we were crazy, just like everyone else would say about us. Sorry I am just jealous, my thoughts are boring.

I have noticed a change in my thoughts and stuff since I tripped acid. They arent voices, but they are thoughts, at church especially I cant control what I think. When I go I usually think about porn and my own sexual adventures. It's quite disturbing, i've been clean for a while now, and I get them less frequently.....even weed made me lose control of thoughts, hope that helped

well i know im not the only one then, and drugs i think are bad for the body but i think can be good for the mind. dont know about the long term though, i'll tell you in 40 years.
