I came sooo very close last night with WBTB!

Ive got my Dream Journal next to me here so I can remember all what happened.
I went to bed at like 10:00pm and set my alarm for 3am so to do WBTB. I went to bed and had some difficulty getting to sleep but had many dreams I could remember when I woke up at 3. I wrote them all down in my journal. The one I really dont understand is about how I am talking to 4 unknown people about a man who wrote a book called "Abstract". I've never heard of a book called that. Then I was talking to someone on the phone about it while the 4 people were building a brick wall around me. Very strange. I kept also having dreams about my dreamscape field but this time it had more trees and the sky was a bright white. I didnt have long enough in it to do anything but this was the place where I met my subconsious which I named phallam.

I woke up at 3 and had some tea. Wrote my dreams and read abit of my memory book about how to remember your dreams better (I'll scan it in some time). I laid down on my right side and tried to dream that I was in my dreamscape field. My body just went and I kept on walking in my field saying "I am dreaming". I could feel the grass between my toes and then my vision sort of zoomed in on the scene and my head began spinning. It started to feel real but kept drifting off. My heart was beating so fast and I was even sweating which made me loose concentration. I felt someone holding my hand to my right and it was a girl I know. THe view kept goin from 3rd person to 1st person.
Lots of images from my others dreams kept popping up now and again in the sky. It was like I could see all my dreams at once in my dreamscape. I didnt get to full LD experience but I got close.

The thing I want to know is, when you go to sleep to try and LD do you try to keep your mind awake and then actually sleep, so when you LD you kinda wake up in it? Or do you stay your mind awake until you LD? I tried the later and I dont see how you can LD as you know your body is still there.

wow !!!! it sounds like you had an ld, i would consider that a success since you exclaimed that you are dreaming. ive never had other dreams come up in my dream like you say, thats crazy and it is so awesome how the dream feels so real once you are inside.

For WBTB you can do with several methods:

one you can go to sleep after keeping your mind awake
you can try a mild brieffly

      or

you can do a wild after staying awake so that you will stay awake until you enter the dream

i would say try the first suggestion that would workfor sure

      Stay Lucid
