My first LD experience, kinda out of nowhere

soo I joined this place about a year or two ago, and without much success i stopped coming. But last night i had my first lucid dream, so i've decided i may like to come back.

so last night, i was very tired because i just had band camp for a week, so i also had about 3 dreams last night. I find I have more dreams when i'm pretty tired. In my lucid dream, I was in a room of my house when i first noticed this green film stuff was on my eyes or something. That was when i first realized i was dreaming. I really didn't become super excited or anything, i just closed my eyes and decided to try and make a wand for myself, because that's the first thing that came to my mind. At first i thought closing my eyes would make me lose the dream, but then I opened them and at the door was a really really long wand. It was a lot longer than i wanted, but i just went along with it. I picked up the wand and walked over to my sister and used stupify on her, and then i made an object float using wingardium leviosa. I recall making fun of someone by saying they were just a DC. My wand also broke into a bunch of pieces for some reason, but then i just magiced them back together. I was pretty excited to try another new spell on someone (levicorpus for all you harry potter fans), but then i must have not been lucid anymore because i don't remember anything else of that dream. I "woke up" and started to tell some people about it, but alas, that was just a dream as well.

Now, i don't know if i was completely lucid, because it almost felt like in the dream i knew i could do anything and that it was a dream, but i don't really think i had 100 percent control. I don't think i really grasped the concept that i was lucid, so i don't know if this is a true lucid dream. It's like i was having a dream of what it would be like to be lucid, but i didn't actually obtain it. It feels like i would have become WAY more excited about becoming lucid. Is this just a weak form of becoming lucid? Any thoughts?

Congrats on your lucid dream! Nah, it sounds lucid all right. Level of lucidity and dream control are not the same, I know I can have a high level of lucidity, but struggle with control.

      Nice to have you back!
