My Most Lucid Dream Was Ruined

Okay, so my girlfriend had called me this morning while I was dreaming. I told her I was tired and I as laid my head back down to go to sleep I was like "Hey Lucid Dream time!" So I drifted off to sleep and during a dream became lucid.

It was the most lucid I have become, complete control, having conversations, looking around etc. The only problem was I couldn't enjoy it because I had to pee like no other. I started looking for places to go in the dream, eventually found a toilet and relived myself, I knew I really had to pee - like in real life - but I thought maybe I could get my mind off it in the dream by going. No, I didn't wet the bet for anyone who is wondering that. But I still had to go, bad. So then I was like "Crap!" I couldn't enjoy the dream at all because my bladder was about to explode.

I started trying to wake up, but every time I woke up I would be in a different bed in a different house and none of them had a toilet. I COULD NOT WAKE MYSELF. I knew I was dreaming the whole time, I was completely lucid. I was so frustrated, having all my lucid dreams before where I accidently wake up and lose lucidity and this time I just couldn't do it. I remember trying with all my might to open my real eyes and it just wouldn't happen. After about four false awakenings it finally did. I am used to the weird disorienting tingling feeling you get when you consciously awake and I quickly ran to me real bathroom.

What did I learn? Having a goal is the strongest way to develop dream control and prevent awakening. If I didn't have to pee so bad I probably would have just got excited and woken up. When your mind is set firmly on something your dream stabilizes quickly.

Well...at least you learned something right?
Don't worry, there's plenty more chances for dreaming later on in your life.

The day in which I can't wake from a Lucid is the day I reach Nirvana.

      One Trick...

One trick that I use when I need to wake (and it's personally never failed me).. is to clinch my eyes and fists shut and concentrate heavily on "Wake up, Wake up".
      ...

That is basically what I was doing, only to awaken in a new dream scene. I started to panic at one point and was just running through this infinitely long house.
