I once had an LD. I dreamt that I was standing somewhere and the background was all colourfull, I could see myself both from 1st and from 3d person view and I was talking to some silver flying bubble whom said to me that I'm dreaming. At first I didn't believe him and said that if I'm dreaming then if I pinch myself I wouldn't feel pain. I pinched myself and I didn't. And I said to the bubble: well if I'm dreaming then I probably wake up right? and I woke up. LOL

I remember many. I had lots of recurring lucid nightmares that I finally overcame when I was around 6-7 years old. They included being trapped in a fire in my daycare, being alone in a moving car, being approached by a man with antlers, being chased around my grandparents' house by living salt and pepper shakers, trapped in a dark house, and the lightswitches didn't work, news anchor coming out of the TV... I always woke myself up in the end until I figured out how to stop the dreams from becoming nightmares. I also had some good lucid dreams about playing with other kids, wandering around the neighborhood, and flying. I remember way too many lucid dreams from age 7 and up that were not recurring, too many to write down.

I had many LDs as a child. One of my favs from my teen years was this LD in which I trekked through the small towns where I grew up. I know it was around yearbook time so I think that influenced the "interface", if you can call it that. I participated in several stories (finding romance at a high school reunion, road-tripping across the USA after graduation and going to a friend's funeral) that were associated with pictures I viewed from a really old yearbook in the dream. That LD was a particularly involved one that flowed like a good movie. Probably the best one I've ever had.

When I was little(r, as I'm only 15 anyway) I had a few lucid dreams, maybe 5 total, but would always wake up right after becoming lucid. But there was this thing that would happen a lot, I mean for several years, that I would attain lucidity but be excited enough to "remove myself" from the dream. What happened was I would see this cartoonish green witch with a cauldron and black gown and she would be counting down in this old fragile voice from 10 to 1. If she got down to zero I would start the dream I was in the middle of, right where I left off, like nothing happened. But, most of the time, I would force myself to wake up when she was counting down. I would basically rip my eyes open. Typically it happened during nightmares which is why I would abort the dream and wake up, but one time I specifically remember seeing a big Egyptian-style museum with several big elephants walking around in an aquarium (wtf, I know). That dream wasn't a nightmare so I just stuck around to see what happened to the rest of the dream. I think I woke up pretty soon afterward.

Yeah, good memories of childhood lucidity, where I wasn't obsessed with sex. I actualyl had some fun times just being lucid, unlike now, where I'm single-minded. Wow, I have a problem.

My first lucid dream was when i was about 10. I dreamt that I had dug up crystals in my backyard, then I realized that it would never happen and I became lucid. Its funny though, the best thing I could think of doing was getting the new pokemon gameboy game which had just come out lmao

I remember having the same dream quite often when I was a kid. I was playing with some friends in one of their attics. There was no furniture except for a stone monster figure. As we were playing the monster suddenly came to life and came after us. After a few of those dreams I knew what was going to happen so I warned the other kids. The monster still ate us, lol. But I wasn't scared, I was having a casual talk with someone else while I was being eaten. ...Yeah.

I had like one when I was younger and It was a Lucid Nightmare, Basicly It was dark and I got out of bed and stood at the top of my Stairs, And this Scarecrow with a Pumpkin head "Like at Haloween" Stood ontop of the stairs and I fell down to the bottom of the stairs. At this time he started cackleing and lightning was bouncing around the top of the stairs.

Most funny thing was, When I woke up I was sleeping at the top of the stairs, I still remember it too this day.

      Wierd!
