      Lucid Dream = Lucid Hell!!

Well, was up at my cabin this past labor day and might I say, I was having/remembering upto 5 dreams a night. New locations really do kick start the imagination.

Anywho, I had my longest lucid dream EVER! It seemed like hours.

I was dreaming that I was at this.. cottage type place with a large pond area around it, and my siblings and I were playing and hanging out when I thought, maybe I'm dreaming. Instantly I become lucid and rubbed my hands together (everything brightened up) and I tried to fly. No luck. ( I've never been good at flying. So, I tried other stuff like changing locations and everything, but NOTHING WORKED! I couldn't do ANYTHING! It was like I was in a prison, having the key right by me, but having no hands to use!

Well I kept trying and trying through out the dream, but I did do other stuff like talk to some DCs, had a few interesting conversations, etc.. but this is the thing that really struck me:

      I FELT PAIN!!

Yes, even when I did a reality check, just poked my eye, I felt a weird sensation that I can really only compare to pain. It didn't hurt, but it was a short, sharp, jolt. I jumped off a 2 story building, and felt pain in my stomach when I hit the ground, it didn't hurt, but I still felt it. Can someone explain? Maybe it's not pain, but I still felt something.

      --------IMPORTANT PART ^^---------

      THANKS,

      Imac

That sensation is just your mind trying to rationalize it's sensory perceptions without the real trigger... so the fact that it felt wierd is normal. Some people will feel actual pain that hurts. I have. That is a good sign, though. It shows that you have good potential for vivid LDs with realistic feelings.

It's fairly normal in some LDs. Grasp onto it and use it to make your LDs better.

If you expect pain, you will probably get it, in an LD. Try to expect it less, or mabye refrain from poking yourself in the eye..

Hmm, okay. Well I guess it wasn't the trip that made me recall my dreams so well, I've been having such great recall lately! I should realy start keeping a dream journal, I'm talking 5 or 6 dreams per night. Wish I would become lucid. Anyway, thanks for the tips.
