      Small issue...

In about 20% of my LDs I will only be able to see with one eye, and my vision is basically cut in half. These dreams are usually very low clarity anyway, so low that spinning barely works and is very tiring, so I just allow myself to wake up from them most of the time (Again, this only happens about 1 out of 5 times). But does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore my vision to normal when this happens?

      Thanks

I would try NOT dwelling on it. You have two eyes I presume. It would fit that the dream you would as well. I beleive that the more someone dwells on a problem that they are trying to fix the more it manifests. Just try and tell yourself that you do have two eyes. It is all about confidence the way I see it.

It sounds like you have good control though most of the time. HAving four out of five clear dreams is alot more than I can say for myself. (Heck, I rarely have them anyway.) So good luck with that!

I get this problem ALL THE TIME. It is the MOST IRRITATING THING EVER. Everything is either very blurry, or very dark.
What I've found helps is this: in your dream, imagine that you are holding a pair of magical glasses. Convince yourself that when you put these glasses on, your vision will be perfect. 9/10 times, it works.

Try doing all the RCs you know, it convinces yourself that you are, in fact, dreaming, and you really start to realize the possibilities.

Remember: when you are in a dream, you're not using your eyes at all. Try to get into your head the concept that your vision, your eyes, have nothing to do with the dream or how you are perceiving it. Don't even think of this problem any more as "I can only see out one eye", but "I can only view things on the right (or left, whatever)". Dropping the attachment to the idea that it is your actual eyes should help all on its own.

If I were you I would just ignore the vision problem and focus on increasing the vividness of the dreams. If you get distracted, you may find your vision returning to normal. I've only had a couple of dreams where my vision was hazy, but they were all non-lucids. Let me know how this goes, I have read about this problem on here quite a few times now

the above thread was initially about being blind or not able to open both eyes in a dream, but there is some discussion about not being able to open a single eye.
