As far as I can recall I started out in the front yard of my friends house. It was an ordinary looking house, slightly dull looking with a rather green patch of grass out the front with a paved area adjacent to the driveway.

I was there with him, another friend and my brother. He was working on my other friends car while we stood around on the paved area, watched and talked. The car is a small maroon hatchback, however I became jealous for some reason that my friend had a car to work on and I didn't. Inadvertantly this caused me to become lucid, I'm not exactly sure why...
( A new technique? JILD? Jealousy induced Lucid Dream? )

I was looking around and I noticed that everything was slightly hazy, but I didn't try and rectify the problem, instead I looked over to the driveway and decided that I would make a vehicle for myself that was much more badass than my friends. The sensation of driving of this would probably clear my vision anyway.

I moved my hands and a large machine appeared. It looked like a badass metallic robot head with eye windows and thick mechanical legs as opposed to wheels.

Everyone came up to my new "car" and started saying things like "Woah!" and "Sweet Ride!" After a while of praise of my new ride I decided to have some fun and see if one of the other guys could handle it. We piled into it, and as I got into the backseat I noticed that there was so much room on the inside of it that even with four of us (Two in front, Two in back) we had enough room to stretch out so we were comfortable.

We just started to move and before I knew it we were tearing ass down the highway with very little friction even though we were in a vehicle that ran instead of rolling. I stopped thinking for a second and the reaslisation that I was in a dream truly sunk in, and just as I predicted my vision became crystal clear. However it didn't stop there, coupled with my full vision my senses of touch, smell and hearing became as in reality.

I had never had a lucid dream that felt so real before! I was astounded by it, intoxicated by how much it felt like reality. I could feel the cold wind whipping my face, the smell of the fresh rain on the road, the reflections of lights off it. I could feel the softness of the seat I sat on and the ridges in the velvety/fuzzy fabric as I bounced on it. I could see the stars in the sky as it was now night. I could hear the sound of the tyres of other cars on the road clearly.

We drove past the school and the service station across the road from it and I looked over into the grounds of the school and I noticed that there were some kids playing on the basketball court. This was another good sign that this was a dream as they were in their school uniforms and were playing at night with almost no light.

After this we went down this road that usually goes around a curve, but in the dream it was like a freeway that rose up off the ground really high. As we drove past I saw my old volleyball coach sitting in a fold-out chair in a set of cricket nets. Someone in the car said "Hey! Thats where we used to play cricket for sport!" I agreed and as we went up onto the bridge I could see down on it and I noticed that it was painted a deep blue with cement floors.I observed the colourful graffiti all over the walls as it drifted out of sight...

Looking at the Lucid Dreams I have, I seem to be more of a passive dreamer, mainly observing things, appreciating their simplicity and not taking much action to change my surroundings, with the exception of a few events and things I've felt like changing of course (eg. My robot head car. )

It works for me.
