Are you more likely to get sleep paralysis in certain places

      Heres the story:
I haven`t had this personally, but I`ve heard it from more than a few people.
10 or so years ago, there were 2 tank drivers (I`m in the army) whose tank rolled over in a river and pinned them down and they drowned. The barracks they stayed in was called Korea Barracks in a place called Waiouru (this is in New Zealand, you won`t know it ). This was all a true story.
Now whenever people go up there on courses or whatever, theres always someone who says they were "held down" in their bed in that barracks, they can`t yell out or move, and that some freaky stuff happens there. Rumors are that its the tankies coming back and pinning people down like they were.
Now after reading messages on this forum its sounds like a typical case of sleep paralysis, but the weird thing is, its always just those barracks. I`ve stayed in the barracks next door and nothing has happened (still hasn`t stopped me being scared s**tless tho!)
Anyone else had something similar or got any ideas?

Yeah I get sleep Paralysis all the time. It never really matters what position im in. It used to scare the crap out of me until I found out the true meaning behind it as far as the body shutting down to not act out dream responses that you may do. and I started utilizing it as a tool for OBE inductions. I've only had one sleep paralysis encounter and thank god I havent had another! One morning I woke up and realized that my right foot wouldn't move. I didnt think much of it at first, I assumed it was asleep, but when I was fully awake and able to think clearly, I started freakin' out like crazy! I tried to move it with my hands, but it wouldn't budge a bit! Thats when all hell broke loose. I threw of the covers and just flipped out of my mind! I've never been so scared in my life. After a while, it all came back to me. One second I couldn't move, and the next I could.

      so odd...

Yeah Sleep Paralysis used to really get to me when I was younger. But now its no big deal. Sleep Paralysis is a very unorthodoxed way to acheive Lucidity on an entirely new level, and its the most effective way to me that is to induce WILD's Considering you are already awake. Just remember whenever it happens to you that its a normal reaction of your body shutting down to prevent you from acting out any dream responses when you are asleep. If you just relax and don't fight it because when you fight it then you freak yourself out! So just take it easy and let your thoughts take you soaring, and welcome to the world of OBE'S....
