      Failed WILD

So last night I wanted to WILD and set up my alarm to wake me up 4 hours after going to bed. It did, I turned it off and started the WILD watching my breath. Very quickly I experienced the usual pseudophysical perceptions (stretching, twisting, ...) but it didn't come to the point where I am able to leave the body. Instead it seems I blacked out and woke up to a strange version of my loft. I wasn't really aware, but not as passive as in usual dreams. From there I recall a long chain of dream events, probably the longest I was ever able to recall. I didn't even write it down because of its length but can still remember it all now after about 8 hours. Guess I'll try again tonight using a different focusing method.

One thing you can do is to give your attention to the outside(project yourself to your room in your thought), to leaving your body. That has really helped me so far.
