Thread: A Peaceful Return

A woman who I dated briefly three years ago recently appeared in my dream. In the dream, she smiles widely, looks into my eyes, and says, "don't worry I'll be back, I'm not gone forever." I immediately woke up with a very warm, peaceful feeling and a big smile on my face, like she had literally been next to me just a moment before waking.

Things ended abruptly between us because she was still in limbo over her ex of four years who she broke up with only six months earlier. We haven't spoken recently, and I have tried to contact her twice over the past few years, but she hasn't responded (I do know that she is alive). While our time together was abbreviated, there was an undeniable spiritual connection between us.

I want to interpret the dream literally, but again both times I've reached out she hasn't responded. How does one interpret such a dream?
