Yes!
Well, I made the swim team, and went to my first practice yesterday. INCREDIBLY exhausting. Right when I got home I collapsed on my bed and instantly when to sleep. I thought about trying a WILD, but came to the conclusion that I was way too tired to even try it. Anyways, lucid dream.
I had a dream where somehow I got this very muscular guy to get mad at me. (I'm not sure, I have terrible dream recall.) He lunged at me and punched me in the face so hard I went unconscious and woke up instantly in my bed. I got up and noticed that I was taller than usual and came to the conclusion that I was dreaming. I did a RC and plugged my nose and breathed in through my nose, and it worked! It felt pretty weird. I got up out of bed and looked around my room. It was flooded with natural light and reminded me of Saturday mornings when you get up at 10:00 AM. My bookcase and my desk were switched around and I had no closet anymore. My walls were painted orange/green (I don't know which, they look the same to me.

) and had one too many windows than normal. I tried to go out of my room but when I opened the door, there was a coat closet there instead. I decided to try the technique to create things by expecting them there. I closed the door and (I don't know why this went through my mind at the time) told myself "I know that there will be a scary beast inside this closet". I opened the door, and well, there was. It was dark and lean and reminded me of a muscular hyena. It lunged at me and I fell over. It began to tear at me and it kinda hurt, but not really. I just forgot about it and moved on to other things and it disappeared. I aimed myself at the window, attempting to fly but then everything started to fade. I got incredibly unbalanced and the room started to tilt every which way. I tried every technique I know to make it longer. I spun around, that didn't work. I grabbed the nearest object to stabilize the dream, didn't work. I screamed "INCREASE LUCIDITY" several times, also didn't work. So everything faded out and I woke up. I checked the clock, it said it was around 6:00 AM. I did a reality check and plugged my nose again and I was awake. I did the clock reality check too. I was bummed out that I didn't get to do anything that I actually wanted. But now I know that it's possible! The dream was so clear, I've never had a dream I can remember this well.
I almost started to doubt lucid dreaming. But now, I know it's true! Maybe now that I've had one, it will be easier to have more!
I thank this forum for teaching me what a lucid dream is and how to know if I'm in a dream. I was filled with never ending joy when I noticed that I was in one!
