Last night I had one of the most enlightening experiences ever - a string of lucid dreams in an unshakable deep sleep. Needless to say, when I began to awaken, I felt a great sense of disappointment that I would have to return to boring, old reality.

Before I get into the dreams, I'll note I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep. I was awake for at least two hours, restless, before managing to fall asleep. This probably isn't particularly relevant.

For the sake of not exaggerating the dream intentionally or not, I will simply put down what I typed nearly immediately after getting up (after staying in bed for a bit in a daze about the bizarre experience I just had).

from about three am onwards, the interesting dreams came along. the first adventure thing was, again, with a party, this time we were fleeing a group of others. this was really exciting to say the least. it began, from memory, in a kind of cruise boat, and in here i was somehow able to distinguish my group without being informed beforehand, again, from memory. myself and SOMEBODY ELSE were walking around, and quickly realized a distinguishable red-haired man was discreetly trailing us. so, we shot him in the head, alerting people around us, and made a run back inside the ship, hiding our guns. we called the others and informed them that the area was now hot, and the 'others' would send out more people if we weren't quick to retreat.
the cruise boat itself was a cover for the others' true form of transport - a rather old submarine with a strange design, of which the other group had discovered. as we attempted to find the other group, we encountered more of the others, which we either evaded to the best of our ability or shot them.
the sun was setting and we were running out of time, so we finally made it to the top of the cruise ship after significant efforts, including some seperations, and saw the submarine was readying to sink. we jumped after it, and they all made it inside except myself, who had to take another route - the submarine lurched forwards, oddly, as it was in a dock and it seemed if it were to sink much lower it would definately scrape the bottom of the seabed. when we had left the dock, it slowly began to submerge, water spraying over the top of which I was desperately trying to hold onto a rail. this is when i realized an ability i had in this dream. a strange squid-like monster leaped up onto the top of the submarine, followed by another. i had no intention of going near them, but i KNEW if i stayed put, they would fly off. and they did. i also knew there was an emergency entrance and my friends were going to open it for me. and they did, so i dropped down the chute inside.
the only room i even spent time in in the submarine was a large, dark one, with big square hole in the middle, but nonetheless, plenty of room to move around. whether it betrayed the outer-architecture of the sub, i don't know, as all I got to see was the top of it.
a member of the team, scott, shoots his mother(?) and pushes her down the hole, and then begins crying at what he had done. the dream sort of transitions into a rubbish one, including a supermarket. whatever... >_<
Throughout the entire dream, I felt a sense of excitement. I felt no regret in shooting down the men - in some parts, I was even just making a gun out of my hand like a kid and shooting them, and it did the trick. I didn't realize how ridiculous it was at the time, though.

I typed some notes about the other 'main' dream I had last night, but unfortunately I don't have the time to put it down right now. It included time-travel and other powers, though, like attempting to phase through a glass wall and getting stuck. Ahaha.
