      Lucid Real World... Really cool!

      This wasn't an LD experience but it kind of fits in the subject.

      Yesterday, I was in my bus on the ride home. I was bored and so I gave myself that feeling that I give myself most of the time. I tell myself that I might be dreaming and I keep saying "I'm dreaming" and then I say "Wo, I think I really am having an LD" and then I try to find things that aren't so normal to prove to myself that I'm dreaming. I can't explain the feeling but you guys have to try. Everything feels better. Back to topic. I was in my bus and made myself believe I was in a dream. It's winter so the glasses were white. I used the sight to trick my mind into thinking my bus was flying in the clouds. It sort of worked and It really felt like my bus was flying in the air but then someone moved and I could see the ground so I did a reality check to see if it had been true or just that I had been able to trick my mind.
      In brief, life is sort of a dream but with limits and dreams

      i'm pretty sure that just means you have a good imagination.:] a mind is a powerful thing & you can make yourself appreciate everything better just by calming it & being positive.

      I dunno. Imagination might be the key. I keep trying to figure out how I developed this ability, and I think it has something to do with the fact that I used to spend all of my free time daydreaming and living in elaborate fantasy worlds.

      No, I didn't really fly but I was able to make myself think I was flying, according to all my senses, but I knew I wasn't, I was just pretending, and since all my senses aggreed to what I said, it kind of felt like that.

      And yeah, its the positive thinking...

      I'm really not saying life is like a dream that you can control or anything, that is really not the message, its just that it feels cool to lie to yourself about dreaming.
