      My first satisfying LD

Hey, I've had like 18 LD's so far, but only this one was long enough, vivid and enjoyable... all the previous ones were too short and too foggy for me to do anything.

So, yesterday I was trying to WILD. I have my little own WILD technique - I get out of bed, strech, drink some water, and listen to a song or two. I find that listening to music cleans my thoughs... If I get out of bed, strech and go back, I won't be able to focus enough to WILD, my mind will still be sleepy and just wander off. Ths song fix this. So, all what I described above takes like five to ten minutes, and than I'm ready to go back to bad.

I was trying to WILD and tell myself "you're dreaming, you're dreaming..."
After about 50 mins I gave up, and tryed to fall asleep normally. But somehow I was too much focused, if its possible. I just couldn't get myself to think of anything except WILD, the energy waves just kept comming even though I didn't want them. I moved a lot because I just wanted to fall asleep, not to spend 40 mins feeling waves.

I can't tell how much time passed but it was at least 1.5 hours since I got up, when I finnaly had a sleep paralize (which I tryed to avoid). The moment it was over, I felt like I'm dreaming of becoming Lucid. My body just floated out of bed. (some sort of weird jump) I landed near my room's door. Suddenly I was again at my bad. This time I had control of anything, I simply did this float-jump again, Excectly the way I dremt of it few seconds ago. I walked through my room door, and tryed the spinning technique. At first I felt weird controling my dream legs but after a while I sorted it out and the dream also became vivid. How ever, It felt like the edges of my visible range are black... I mean, if usually I can see like 170 angle of view, I could now only see 120 or so. Anyway after a while it became normal.

I found myself in a corridor, perhaps a hotel corridor. I decided I want to talk to a friend of mine, so I checked every door. It was the first time I actually realize and enjoyed the realistic feeling of lucid dream, I could feel the cold floor against my feet and hear the people yelling at me when I broke into their room... I was expecting to see my friend behind every door when I opened it, but I didn't saw her. After I went through all the doors, I decided I should try flying. I jumped into the air, but started falling down slowly. So I imagined I have a jet engine on each of my legs, and I was suddenly shot forward, as if it was true. I've flown for few moments, and than my lucidness dissapeared.

      Good to hear.

Even though I haven't had many LDs two of which have been WILDs. However, while my were accidental they were long enough to satisfy me and extremely vivid. I agree also about some LDs, I believe you mean DILDs, being "foggy". DILDs and WILDs are two completely different beasts in my opinion and nothing beats a WILD. In my WILD I was in some kind of house and city. The city looked like LA in America and was so utterly real that I did countless RCs to make sure it wasn't real. Well, I could go on about that dream for hourse.

      Good luck Yoavwein!
