I LD'd FINALLY!!! (my dry spells over yay)

I'm new here at DV although ive been at ld4all for some time. Last night, I had an LD that lasted for maybe 5 minutes:

My dad drove into a road with a growing crack, like in adventure movies. He would never do someting this dangerous in real life. As we fell through the crack to our deaths (My family and I, in the car), I said "I'm dreaming Im dreaming." I was amazed by being back in this virtual world that is my own mind, after my 3 month dry spell, and I just loved looking at the beauty of the sky. I didnt fly, for fear of losing the LD, and the rest of it is kind of a blur-----i just remeber the feeling of euphoria.

The day before this LD (yesterday), I went on the forums, and read a lot. I also had a argument at home and Iwas so pissed that I tried to sleep/ do WILD. It didnt work because I wasnt tired enough. I was angry that i couldnt sleep and I was very angry that I hadn't LD'd in months.

I think i actually prayed for "an escape to my dreamworld.", and of course last night, I got it. I love things liek this because it reinstills my faith in, well, myself, i suppose. Those who have experienced ends to dry spells know what I mean.

Hopefully, I will have more LD's now, and I'll make sure to visit the LucidCrossroads, a futuristic sci-fi world, and a matrix-type world. LDing is the best---i doubt any drug can make my day this good.

im really happy for you. i can relate with your situation and im sure others can to. some of us just lose interest and one lucid dream can often remind us how big a gift lucid dreaming can be.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
