      Talking First lucid dream!

I got my first lucid dream and maybe my first sp!
The dream wasen't that clear because my dreams aren't vivid.
But yeah my I became lucid when my sister called for me and said the old lady is dead (it was in the dream) and I looked first she looke old but I looked away and then back and then she looked young and I said I must be dreaming and I hold the nose and breathed and it worked!
It wasen't good but yeah. I got over excited started to run and then I thought oh no I wouldn't get excited! and then everything was black and I could feel my body I think. Was some sort of force I don't know and it felt like I couldn't move so I didn't bother trying but then I wanted to try again and I could move so I don't know if it was a sp. and it was in the dream
But I had my first lucid dream
But not that vivid I couldn't feel or anything. My dreams are fogy I don't remember that much.
You know how I can get it more vivid?

But still my first LD yey
The lucid was arround 15sec if Im right with the blackness

My lucid dreams usually start as SP, if your having SP don't open your eyes but try to fight the paralysis.. sometimes you'll start to dream that you've made it out of your bed and before you know it your lucid dreaming. The time this happened to me i looked back into my bedroom and seen myself laying in bed!

Hopefully, your dreams will get more vivid and memorable as you get more practice. Work on your dream recall, in general. Lucid dreams can be forgotten just like normal ones.

Congrats! Don't worry, most peoples first lucids tend to be pretty short and lame, but they are always so exciting!! It's like being reborn.

Also, do you keep a regular dream journal?
On LD hiatus. Probably will start again around new years.

Or, you know -- randomly throughout this year and next.

Just keep writing in that. I find I have better recall if I wake up in complete silence and can think about my dream for a bit. I write it down right after I have a reasonable amount clear in my mind. That helps most people remember. From what I read shouting "Clarity" in your dream will make it clearer, but I never really had the problem so I can't vouch for the solution. Good luck

I have not had an LD, but this makes sense to me:

1.Calm down from initial lucid excitement.
2.Rub your hands. This forces your brain to render sensory output.
3.Focus on a dream object to ground visuals.
4.Shout "Increase Clarity" and "Increase Lucidity".

Do all of this when you go lucid and I think you'll be good. Good Luck.

I don't count these as true lucids because they where not very clear, but until I have my first real lucid these will do.)
