Omfg My First Vivid Lucid Dream!!!

holy shi*!!!!! I don't know how much I can say this, I was just finished writing my dream journals a few minutes ago instantly after waking up, now i'm typing this.

Shit shit shit shit!! I wish i could jump up and down in my dream in joy.
I almost dropped the idea of lucid dreaming because I tried for 2 months without any result. After going to my computer I was too tired so I lied down and I saw images. Then I feel as sleep. Next thing I was lucid dreaming. I cannot remember the first half of my dream but the second half was the most amazing experience I ever had in my life, trust me guys, IT BEATS REAL LIFE TRAVELING IN ALL ASPECT!!

I remember myself being conscious of my dreaming but told myself not to think of anything life related. I remeber flying slowly over a lake, but the lake was nothing special. Then I was flying in this city in the day and in the middle of this city is a GIGANTIC smoky structure but it wasn't smoke, it looks like dirt being piled tornado shape structure, in the middle of a city, but it was BIG.

Then I decided see some more amazing spectacle. Suddenly I leaped in the air like a rocket and fly around the globe, I can see the land below me not like land but more like map structures. I see this snowy spot mountain and landed on it. Upon landing i was at this frozen antartica like place, and I turn and there was just cartoony thing standing there, I turn around more and I found an amusement park, for some reason my head was telling me it was disney land. There were lots of kids and parents.

But I walked into the amusement park and somehow it transfered me into another scene. This one was a super market but there is a fish tank, inside the tank there was no water but a sexy tanned sweaty woman. I knew I could have sex with her if I jumped in but I dared not because I'm afraid that my real body will have an erection and it will embarass me (I'm totally aware that i'm dreaming). So I just walked around the market and suddenly everything is starting to lose focus, so I did the trick that I learned which is to spin around and there it is, as clear as high definition. But the thought of my body return and I woke up, tried to get back, got to the hynogogic stage but too excited to sleep.

So for those who are curious or didn't have a lucid dream yet:

      - Everything is as clear as real life.
      - Lucid dreaming is totally worth the effort, you will know when you have lucid dreaming.
      - You can do anything you want but you will probably think more differently than real life, you are more calm in dreams and it seems like you experience lucid dreaming through the eyes of a very calm different person. How do i know this, I saw the sexy chick in the tank and there was no squirm in my pants lol.
      - About the visual detail. Imagine yourself watching a blu ray movie, where you can see the actor's face texture, now in lucid dreaming, the detail can be ten times better than that. I remember after I woke up I tried to go into LD again and saw the imagery of a beast, I've never seen it before but i'm pretty sure it's something from the lord of the ring worlds, and I saw the texture on it's body, it was as if you shove your face two inches near it, it was that detailed.

The crappy thing is that I can't actively induce Lucid dreaming. I also try the supposed astral projection before but got stuck and it was nothing as vivid as this.

wow nice. i too have had these really vivid lucid dreams and there is nothing else like it.

out of about 24 of my lucid dreams, only about 4 of them have been in like high-def (some of us call it highly lucid dreams) which is when you are completely aware that your body is in bed and your mental-self is in the dream world and everything is soooo clear and vivid. some are aware for a moment that everything around them is part of their own creation.

one time i was in a higher lucid dream and i wanted to focus on something to get more tuned in. so i focused on a tree and damn, just the tree alone was so beautiful and detailed. after the dream, i started appreciating trees more (not hugging, just the looks) and notice the wind blowing on the leaves and such. seldom people who just "sleep walk" through their waking lives (those non-lucid dreamers) would almost never notice this.

lucid dreaming is defineltly some kind of mental exercise. everytime i have one, it feels so great and it feels good after waking up. after waking up from a high-def one, just go ahead and appreciate what you just went through instead of trying to get back in is my advice.

oh yeah, just remember it's a skill so it would be more rewarding to achieve this level on your own built-up mental strength.

thanks guys, one more thing that I noticed is that when I hear some one speaking in a lucid dream, if I tried to make out what's he/she is saying it becames uncomprehensible language, I remember in the amusement park some guy was speaking over the intercom but I could not understand what he is saying.

Well, it's all good. The whole thing happened in just around 30 minutes, imagine what fun I would have having lucid dream for the whole night.

Wow! It's so refreshing to read such enthusiasm! I've had a few high definition LDs and yeah words just can't describe how amazing the experience is. Indeed a vivid LD is every bit as real as RL.

      Keep up the good work!

I don't know I was just really tired and never expect it to come. I will try again tonight. But the thing is that we shouldn't try at night at all I tried many nights and haven't got anywhere yet. Hmm, things happen when you least expect them.

Ahh thank you. It wasn't my work after all, it just came out of no where I was just about to fall as sleep. I wish I have another one like that.

Congratulations on your first lucid dream! I remember how excited I was when I was experiencing my first one. My first LD came when I least expected it too. I remember going to bed really tired. Next sleep paralysis set in and then I was whisked away to dream land. It really is worth the effort to experience the sense of ecstasy of having this vivid new world opened up to us. I wish you many more in the future.

I've had about 3 lucid dreams and 1 of them was extremely vivid and sharp, I remember looking at a bush and each leaf was defined.. I like the description of High DEF it's the best way to explain it... I have sleep paralysis every so ofter but i don't particually enjoy the expierience, I get very very HIGH pitch noises in my eyes which literally makes me feel like my ears are about to pop... but they to tend to be the easy route into a lucid dream which are totally amazing!
