This afternoon I had a wild and it was probably the longest lucid dream experience I've ever had. The most notable thing to me though was that at one point I wanted to wake up, but I absolutely couldn't. |

yes, I have. i have to take a medication called seroquel, it is like a knockout pill. If I go to bed at 3 am, I set an alarm for 10 am and I wake up, turn it off, and fall back into a dream automatically, only to wake up naturally at 2 pm. Usually I am staying in a dream trying to get somewhere or acheive something, like if I just do this, I can wake up! I can feel my body when I'm in the dream, feeling tired and it wants to satisfy its bodily needs, and I ignore it, but sometimes, I try to wake up and end up in another dream. It is easy to wake up just by closing my eyes in the dream and willing it away if I am scared, also, the same head feeling you get when you do that is how you become invisible in a dream. The other night I tried to become invisible, but instead I just turned into a different person and no one knew where "I" had gone and was trying to find me. But I viewed it as a fail since i still could be seen. But anyway, I have had dreams where I wake up in my room 3 times and then am dissapointed because each time I thought I was really awake, until I go to the bathroom and see something exceedingly strange, like a spider which is 3 feet long, I have also experienced "waking up" 3 times where my mom who I used to live with says, time to get up you are late for school, then I try to get dressed but there is nothing but insane clothing I don't own in my closet, so I go back to bed int he dream hoping I wake up...well, shortly, yes I have experienced that. I don't think there is a way to solve it, just keep going back to bed until you wake up for real. And usually, when I wake up from that it is like 4 am and not only am I not late for anything, for some reason I can't get to sleeop again. |

Sounds a bit scary! You should have summoned the hottest woman alive, and made love to her to wake yourself up =P |

maybe the partying made you so tired your body refused to wake up |

You may be right because today I had another lucid experience that was very similar to my last one. I took an afternoon nap and had a wild and the duration of the lucid dreams seemed to be roughly two hours or so. Some friends and I stayed up until around 5pm playing drinking games and having fun so I was really tired when I finally went home and took my nap; just like before. I didn't feel trapped in the dream though, but at the same time I didn't attempt to wake myself up. The feeling, vividness, and duration of this experience was very similar to my last one though. After about two hours I remember feeling very tired within the dream and I sort of woke up. It felt almost like the dreaming itself was making my mind tired or something. |
