      Lucid Dream?

Anywho, it could of been at least a year ago when I had this dream.

I was in a car with 3 african american people on a desert road. It seemed to be back in the time when MLK was around, their clothes were old fashioned. I didn't see the car I was in but I knew it was old. Anyways, for some strange reason I knew I was dreaming. I didn't like it at all and I woke myself up by closing my eyes really tight.

This lucid dream was unintentional and I never felt like that before. I didn't wake up until the morning and then I remembered that. Was I really lucid dreaming or was it an average dream? and how would I lucid dream again if I wanted to. Thanks.

      You were lucid.
Knowing you are dreaming, by definition, is lucidity.

Did you do anything specific to induce this? Was there something in particular that tipped you off to the fact? Could anything in your dream be used as a dream sign?

      Congrats, by the way.

Not sure, maybe the fact that I was with people I didn't know?
It was too long ago to remember though.
