There are some dreams that repeat themselves every once in a while. These dreams keep coming back
until they are resolved. Some are even old as 5 years, as I do not often dream at that level. This is
just one of those dreams in which, even after making some kind of a progress since the last few tries,
I sadly fail again.
This time after waking up I could remember most of the parts of the dream so I decided to write it all
down here.

I was just one of the followers, trying to find out and observing the mystery of their curse.
There are 8 people, all hoping to remove their curse and cheat death itself. If they fail, they do not
just die, their souls are damned and they will forever suffer in unspeakable horror.
We are at an old castle which has a close resemblance to castle Alcázar of Segovia, it is night time
and we are currently undergoing a check so we can proceed. We are all gathered in a half circle
in the center of the throne room with the judge stationed on the elevated throne left of us. The judge
is a bright blond woman of mid length hair tied to a ponytail, distinctive blue eyes, and a dark blue
dress with silver medieval like armor on top of it. The breast plate had a big golden Fleurs-de-Lis
inscribed on it. Her presence was malevolent, instilling fear in all of us, I could hardly bare looking
at her. The throne room was of great size, rectangular shape, with great tall windows decorated with
crimson red curtains, oddly enough though it was night time bright light penetrated through the
windows and one couldn't see anything beyond the window. The whole floor of the room was inscribed
with specific golden art patterns. The center of the floor was deepened out in a circular shape with a
royal blue crest within. The crest was similar to this. The judge rose up from her throne and said:
"There are eight people, seven must pass at all costs, if any less, there is no hope for salvation".
These 8 all had a code which I do not know how they obtained. One by one they would all tell me their
code (which was a simple 4 digit number) and I would telepathically inform the judge (though I'm
unaware of this ability). This is the first part of the dream that might go wrong and lead to a
gruesome end. Two of my last dreams failed at this point, one time there were less than 7, the other
time I lied because of the previous one's failure. As the codes were whispered in my ears fear built
up in my mind so much that at one point I couldn't concentrate anymore and I didn't hear very well one
of the codes. I was unsure of what I've heard. Nonetheless the judge accepted it as it were. I knew I
had made a terrible mistake, I was certain I gave the wrong code... fear almost paralyzed me.
"What should I do? Tell her the truth? Would she forgive? But... I didn't lie... No, I didn't. It is
how it is.".
Just for a moment I looked into her eyes. She was staring right at me with a terrible gaze the whole
time. I don't know if she knew or not, but I kept my mouth shut. Finally, the judge approved 7 of 8
codes. We were able to proceed.

We climbed up to a tall tower where they would prepare and attempt to remove the curse. There was an
old man that looked like Sean Connery and he told me a few things about the curse including that all
of the cursed will have nightmares from which they must find a way out. If any of them dies in it, we
are all doomed. He also mentioned that one of them will face the horror responsible for the curse and
nightmares. One of the cursed was an old wrinkled woman, which the old man was worried about. She was
the seventh person for whom he thought would face the horror. He doubted she would make it so he
decided that I would help though he did not elaborate on that. After that conversation we went to
sleep and the whole dream switched.

It all happened from a movie perspective. The land was flat and dusty, a few strands of grass here and
there, the ground clearly had marks of devastation. In the distance black smoke rose and farther off
tall grassy hills stretched. Two people appeared. The judge that looked the same as in the castle and a
woman that had the same suit and arm blades like Bloodrayne (though her face was different). They
fought but the red woman's power was just insane. She stabbed her in the back with the arm blades and
lifted her up without impaling. Then in a blink of an eye she swiftly cut off her head, arm and legs
but her body and parts remained "floating" in the air and seemed intact. The wounds shined a violet
burst of light, there was no blood. She was still clearly alive. She grabbed her by the shoulder and
brought her closer to herself and two times she drove the arm blade whole through her spine and chest
from behind. It all blackened out and I returned to myself in the castle.

All the cursed were having their nightmares. I came into the 7th's room. She was conscious, in
her bed, chanting some words without voice, and showing a strange sign with her hand. I started having
short visions of the dreams she had. Lost in thought I wandered off and found myself walking in the
corridor of the castle which had some beautiful portraits of the nobles who once lived here. The old
man approached me telling me that all but the 7th passed (unlike the last time where most of them died)
who was still dreaming. He urged me that I must help her. I was terrified of the thought. My gaze
slipped from the old man and into an old portrait of a very young girl sitting on her chair in a
beautiful dress. She had very long blond hair and blue eyes... and a similar shape of the face as... I
realized that woman was the judge herself. I started having visions of her in her past times and a
name came to my mind (though I cannot remember what it was). Memories flooded my mind. She was one of
the most powerful vampires. She was the 8th, last of the cursed that was missing. I told the old man
what came to me. By the look of his face it seemed he came to a terrible conclusion. He quickly gave
me a very old, small and flat, circle stone with the sign the old woman was showing with her hands.
"You must hurry!". I ran back to the 7th and embraced her hand with the stone. I could see a small
glimpse of her nightmare. The red woman was approaching silently while around her hordes of
monstrosities followed. The monsters were banished one by one as I somehow connected with the old
woman. The red woman drew dangerously close to her. The stone in the hand started glowing with a
bright green light. Fear came to me: "This is it, it's going to happen now, after this..."

It was over. The old woman drew her last breath and died. She could not bare the horror. The vision
blacked out and the dream switched. The view changed to a movie perspective. On the same field my
avatar appeared (that's what I call the "all powerful" human form of me ), though I had no control
over it. As soon as the red woman caught me in her sights from hundreds of yards away I felt her
insane power and killing intent. With that aura around her the ground itself trembled. With just one
swift stroke of her arm she sent a violent wave of energy that shook the land to a miles length. That
was just a warning sign. I was in awe of her power, but even so I was confident I could face her
might and kill her. With just one step I blinked and appeared in front of her. We started fighting bare
handed. All my fist attacks had kind of a charge. As soon as she would block my attack the surge of
released energy would literary consume the air around and ripple the ground. I hit the ground beneath
me with one violent blow. The energy blew up the ground in front of me but barely pushed back the
woman, in fact, it pushed me back farther. I blinked back a few hundred feet away. This time with
all my fury and anger I just hit the ground with my foot. As if a meteor fell down from the sky a
shock wave of immense power tore and blew the ground which sent debris flying hundreds of feet up into
the air. The wave of destruction fast approached the red woman. The view closed in around her and I
could see the dust and debris going around her just by an inch from her skin. She remained unscathed.
Smoke and dust engulfed the land. I could barely see anything. Without a second thought I drew my
sword and quickly moved to act. Darkness takes over and the dream shifts to the castle in a free form
view.

The castle's ceilings begin to come down. I see the survivors running for their lives trying to find a
safe spot or exit, but there is no way out and nowhere to go. Eventually they are all crushed beneath.
A group of people that were in the castle's tower quickly gathered at the center of the tower
interior hall and waited... the circular center begins to move, it seems to be some kind of an
elevator. It slowly starts to accelerate upwards eventually reaching a tremendous speed and crushing
the last of them at the top.
Shifting towards the side and into one of the rooms I see the judge sitting on her chair staring
blindly into the mirror in front of her with wide open eyes. She was terrified of the outcome and her
failure. I hear whispers and thoughts saying that she is to remain here locked up forever and
forgotten, but that not even she is safe. I could feel her sadness and grief passing onto me, it was
hard for me to accept it was over, that there's nothing I can do. I honestly didn't want to leave her
like that. Eventually her mouth forms a kind of a deranged smile. She starts to giggle and says:
"Well, at least I'll live forever" *insert maniacal laugh here*.
Finally, the view shifts towards and out of the room window, slowly distancing from the castle and
overlooking it with the full moon night one last time... the dream ends.

I never knew what happened to me, and to be honest, I don't want to know. I don't know how the judge
was planing to save herself, the reason why she acted how she did and why was she hiding the truth.
What were the nightmares and what exactly is this curse. Who was that red woman on that field and was
that some long lost past or the nightmare we were fighting in... the code at the beginning that I so
certainly thought was wrong was my own considering I was in one of those nightmares/past
and the memories that came back to me after seeing that picture. All along I was one of the
cursed and it should have been me facing that nightmare...
