      Extremely Vivid Dream without trying

I am not new to lucid dreaming or some forms of mind expansion but about 2 weeks ago I had a lucid dream which I accomplished quite easily without fully thinking about it considering I was half asleep. I was planning on sleeping late like normal as I was drunk the night before but for some reason I woke at 8 am very tired. I knew I was awake but I hadn't yet opened my eyes because the last image of my dream was still stuck in my mind. I have yet to write this down in my dream log but this entire dream is so vivid I can describe the entire thing is some detail.

The last image in my head was me holding a gray medicine ball in an all blue gymnasium like the one at the boys and girls club (Which I hadn't seen since I was like 9) positioned as if I was playing basketball. After I woke I laid there thinking about the image until I felt a tingling sensation on the back of my head. I lied there for only a minute or so until quite abruptly I was standing in the same gymnasium once again fully lucid. I was very surprised because at the time I wasn't particularly trying to be lucid.

After understanding what happened I dropped the ball and began to explore. I walked up to one of those metal push doors and went through it only to be in the same exact looking room, which kind of freaked me out a little because I didn't want to be trapped in never ending gymnasiums over and over again, but to my delight the next time I tried this on another door I emerged onto a very bright blacktop in a parking lot.

Now being lucid I thought of the one thing I really wanted to do. This was to find a certain woman that I have strong feelings for. I tried to make her appear near me but it didn't work so I thought of were in this dream world I'd find here. This woman is a teacher at sheehan high school so I decided to head there. I looked around and saw a group of people standing around listening to one person, almost looked like football practice without the pads. I asked them were Sheehan was and they pointed me in its direction.

As I walked over the hill in the direction they pointed I immediately came to a familiar area in my town were there is a church and two buildings down was Sheehan. I don't remember at which point but around this time one of my good friends Art was with me for some strange reason. At this point while we were walking I realized that this was a dream once again and proceeded to take a very strange looking motor scooter type thing from someone and me and my friend art went flying around a turn in the direction we had to go. I don't remember what happened here but we eventually went flying and both landed on top of a building right next to sheehan. I climbed down a ladder after deciding not to jump off and walked with Art around a fence to the front doors to sheehan high school. I quickly thought of something to tell my friend Art and said, "Yo i'm going to school man, Ill see you later" since Art is older and graduated I figured this was the most logical thing to say. But this sheehan high school was very different than its real life counter part, It didn't even look the same. There were vines all over the door and it looked like a tower of some sort.

I walked inside only to be in a very skinny hallway with a door in front of me and a staircase to the right. The door in front of me was slightly blocked so I decided to go up the spiral staircase to my right. I walked through odd looking hallway and into a bathroom with a large amount of toilets. I walked through the back door and was in some weird garden. This is were it gets a little weird.

For some reason from this point on (I'm guessing I lost some lucidity) there was a sort of medieval theme to my dream. The school looked like the game Oblivion for some reason. I walked through the garden and came to an amazingly tall spiral staircase that seemed to be made completely of porcelain and had poetry written in it. The only thing I remember reading said Remember your passion which kind of freaks me out. I walked up the staircase to find myself in an exquisite looking dining room with beautiful rugs and tapestries all over. I took a left because I saw a door that was open and went into it. Inside I saw a girl I know from school named Julia. Which is quite random because I barely ever talk to this girl anymore and Id say she isnt very significant to me at all. She greeted me with, " My Lord!" and I responded "Hello lady Julia, do you have any idea were I could find fair Laura?". Julia abruptly stopped me and told me that she wanted to be called Lady Ecoliptis. This was very strange to me. I don't know were my mind came up with that name from, Ive tried searching in on google but it is only a plant or something. But when she said it the name sounded very sinister. I agreed and Julia proceeded to tell me that she was found on the bottom floor. I think I retained a little lucidity by this point because of what happened next. I reassured her that Laura was found on the top floor instead of the bottom floor because I had already climbed to the top of the tower/school. Julia agreed and said sorry for joking about it. Then as I felt confident about going to the top floor and confessing my love to the most beautiful woman on the planet I found myself kissing Julia. I pushed myself off and felt bad as Julia told me not to tell Lady Ecoliptis because the two of them are good friends. I assured her I wouldn't and turned to a window. Through the window I could see that there was one floor left and as I headed to the next staircase which was in sight I began to wake up.
I remember trying to fight it, which is the wrong thing to do and as I was in this very brief struggle of half sleep I saw what looked like achievements on like an xbox 360 game flashing before my eyes and one said vanquishing Ecoliptis and another said something about Loving Laura (which at the time I thought were the same person) and both "achievements" were gray as if I didnt get them and I woke to the back of my eyelids desperately trying to fall back asleep but it was no use. It was 130 pm and I wasn't tired anymore.

This was the most intense and vivid dream I have ever had and the most amazing thing is how I can recall all this stuff 2 weeks after the fact. I did write it all down in my dream log immediately after waking up but I never thought dreams were really that powerful. I have tried to recreate this many time but cannot achieve such vivid dreaming. Nor have I had the chance to confront my love in my dream either which sucks because every time I see her in a dream I'm not lucid and I think nothing of it.

This also makes me very mad because I don't understand how I acheived such lucidity and vivid memory of the dream. I have tried to LD many of times which have worked before but nothing, not even any other dream that wasn't lucid has ever been as vivid and lifelike and just plain awesome as this dream.

please if someone could reply and to this it would help. Has something similar ever happened to anyone? Does anyone have any advice on how to achieve such lucidity?

im about to read it and respond give me a couple mins

      EDIT:

      Hey Buddy,

I just got done reading all of that; and I will start off by saying, Awesome Lucid Dream! It really seemed like you had full control (the times you were lucid), and that the dream was very vivid and realistic. If you want to know how you can have "Life Like Lucid Dreams", a good idea is to just stand still for a few seconds when you do become lucid.

Once you realize you are dreaming, just stand there and let all your surroundings come into focus.. It might help if you pick a certain object or spot to look at and not only let it come into focus, but the surrounding area as well. During this time, just relax, calm yourself and just know it is a dream. Tell yourself that everything is made up of your imagination, so there fore you should be able to make it as life like as you want!

Once you seem like you have good stability and everything is in "Life Like" focus, try whatever comes to your head!

Hope this helps. Please feel free to PM anytime you want if you have any questions!

      Take Care

Well I thank you for responding. It was an amazing experience that Ive been trying to recreate for a while now. I don't have problems obtaining lucidity, I seem to naturally do it quite often. It was just that normally when I'm lucid my vision is impaired compared to normal sight and I feel a little disoriented. I haven't had one since but I've never before had a dream that was like that one before. My mind was clear and I can remember feeling the sun on my face as well as it baking on the black top.

Also my main reason of trying to recreate this dream as because I find myself try almost every time I'm normal dreaming to find this woman and tell her I love her, but I can never seem to get the words out or find her.

A couple days ago I had a non LD were I was sitting in English class that the same teacher was teaching and I complimented her on her looks. She blushed and silently walked to a back room. I followed her and upon entering the room she was naked lying on a table. She was still silent and she seemed to be in distress of some sort. That is when I noticed a large male figure in the room who's presence made me uneasy. Then the last thing I remember was trying but failing at some insane task in order to "save her"

I am confused about if these dreams are related. I am also confused as to why I have been having dreams about this woman almost every time. Probably jsut my mind playing tricks on me
