Thread: I had a LD!...I think

Hey There,

For all who don't know me im Xiper. I joined...about a week ago and have been trying to get a LD from that point till now. Any way on to the meat of this post I had my first LD at 8/21/09!

I had been trying to WILD the whole week and had not got into a dream once. Then on 8/20/09 I tried to WILD only to fail, I got mad to put it gently and just wanted to sleep. So I slammed down in my bed and fell asleep. Well I must have been sleeping good because I had 3 dreams I could remember and then 1 LD. The 3 dreams we nothing really just random things that I dont think I should post just because but the LD is the weird part...

Ok It started and I was in a Ally with wooden fences stretching straight ahead of me on both sides. It was a dark night and a full moon was out, next to me was my father of all people. Well I dont remember why but I had to get over the fence so I guess I jumped... and it was like a low grav 8 foot jump over and past the fence. I dont remember what happened on the other side but when I jumped back I thought to my self "Wait...I cant jump this high! This must be a dream" Then when I landed next to my Father (Which still did not move or do anything for that matter) I had some control. It was vary vary fuzzy like I only had 45% control but I moved my hand in front of my eyes and wiggled my fingers... I saw them in first person view (which is better then I have ever done in a dream). Then I guess I just wanted to get to another dream so I thought of the first place that came to my head and did a "Dream Spin". What I didn't know was that the first place I thought of was a old shop that was part of a joke my dad told me before I went to bed. Once I stopped spinning I was in that shop but it was VARY fuzzy and it seemed to be lacking detail. I was in a peach room with a couch, a love-seat, and a closet. There were also 2 doors... This is where I lost control. I went in a door and it exited to the same room I started in... so I went in another and I was still in the same room... Then all I remember is waking up to my father telling me to get up.

Good Job on your LD! Sometimes just going to sleep and relaxing (and not trying so hard to achieve Lucidity) will indeed give you a Lucid Dream.. Almost like an oxymoron!

Keep up the good work and in no time you will have 100% control, not just 45%

Hey Thanks,

Ya I was a little surprised to have a LD but I think it helped me understand LD's much better then I did. Well I will keep trying and any help/adoption would help me over along.
