Ive only known about Lucid dreaming for 3 nights and I've had two LD's. This second one was pretty cool and I have a question. I woke up at 4:00 after 6 hours of sleep, walked around for a bit and then went back to bed to do a WILD. it worked pretty well, although it took longer than I thought it would. I never remember the paralysis stage, but I didn't try to move either. I intended to start my dream as a king on a castle wall looking out over the parapets. I forget how my dream actualy started but I spun and got the dream I intended. I remember at first being totaly aware of my actual body lying in bed and this seemed to make it much harder to be "in the dream" does anyone else have any experiance with this? or techniques for losing perception of your real body to emerse yourself in the dream once you are there? It happened slowly over the course of the dream, but it would be cool if I could do it faster to make the dream more vivid. Any ways, I went down the stepps on the wall into a bustling village thing. and I found this guy. I asked him:

"whats your name"
"percival"
"are you a knight" (as in sir Percival in the aurtur tails)
"no" (he gives me a quizicle look like I'm strange for thinking this dude in peasents cloths is a knight)

I then thought it would be cool to go on a journey, so I commanded the guy to get my horse, and he brings this sweet big white charger. so I ride off into the woods on this horse, an dI tell myself, "I'm on a quest to find "the mystic pool"." so I ride for a while and eventualy find this small clearing with this stone well that is filled to the brim with this blue water. I walk up to it and I see my reflection with crown and full beard in all.

suddenly, the pool, or mabey my reflection (I cant quite remember wich) says to me

'The land and the king are one. in this realm, you and the world are one."

It was pretty sweet. I had just watched the movie Excalibur where one of the main lines and concepts is "The land and the king are one" it was sweet how this came up in a lucid dream.

the suck part is that my waking body suddenly got a really itchy nose I felt like I really wanted to stay in the dream but I was ripped away as I scratched my nose. Is there any way not to wake up like this?

Any comments or answers to questions?
