Yeah I found out about Lucid dreams two nights ago and I had one the night after I learned about them. It was pretty sweet, I read a brief tutorial on them and then I just followed some stepps.

I found myself in the art room at my school dipping a paintbrush into one of the many yogurt cups that we use to hold paint water. As I dipped my brush in I saw my hand holding the brush and noticed that it didn't have any scar on the back of it. This was one of the reality tests suggested in the tutorial (looking at your hands) and I realized I was dreaming. I got realy excited and started to feel the world slip away, so I took several deep breaths and concentrated on relaxing. I then noticed the painting that I was painting. It was a strange modern art painting that I didn't realy like. This was when I attempted dream control. I just looked at the painting that I didn't like and I thought of one that I did, and the painting shifted before my eyes into one of Degas' dancers. Someone in the art room said that it was cool how I did that, his name is Nick but I hardly know him. I then looked at everyone else in the room who didn't notice and with one wave of my hand I said "away" and they all sort of shimmered and dissapeared. I thought about a set of stairs comming decending down through the floor of the room. I then went down the stairs to a dirt road in the middle of a grassy field. Then the stairs just liffted up into the sky and I turned around and this kid Nick was standing behind me. I then walked down the path and ended up in this darkness that I then sort of coaleced into this ornate victorian room and I was sitting on this large set of marble stairs. It was pretty cool to have so much control over my suroundings. Is it unusual to have lucid dreams this rapidly and have such vivid memories with that control? It was realy sweet, I will try again tonight.
