      First Lucid

      Hello i have been tryin to obtain the skill of being able to lucid dream for some time now and recently i have. I have been using the recall method saying i will remember all my dreams and wakeup after each dream and i have been remembering at least 3-4 dreams a night which is common. But one night i was tired and didnt use any method but was having this weird dream involving these endless spriral staircases i couldnt figure out how to get out of it but then i began to see i was deaming i could think cleary of recognizing everything in the dream was complete fiction and cannot happen in reality, then began to imagine things i thought to myself knowing i am dreaming why didnt a wakeup? Noramlly its common to wakeup after identifying ur in a dream. But it seems as if I didnt have to perhaps its the Tripple C i took the other day. I couldnt control anything in the dream very well i tried to picture a flame coming out of my hand then i started to see electricity waves coming out of my hand interesting outcome. Any Ideas about control and experences?

      wow, "any ideas about control and experiances?" that is like two whole forums here man! Hehe, sorry to be glib, but you just asked one question that has a ton of answers. I think it is really interesting that you tried to get one thing and got something similar but different. I'm pretty new here so I dont know if that is comon or not. With me I can either do something and control it or not. Its like I just try and my mind hits a brick wall. I haven't ever tried to make a staircase and gotten a ladder or something. If you get the dream again it would be cool to try and solve your prediciment with the stairs like tell yourself that just a few more stepps will bring you to a landing that will take you somewhere else. I like to try and find ways out of the situation that I'm in (keep in mind that I've only had 3 LD's and I've only tried 4 times).

      3 LDs for 4 tries is pretty good...
      I'm at about 6/320. Well, maybe more than 6, but less than 15.

      yeah I dont know how uncommon it is, but I seem to be able to LD when I try 100% (only four trials now) the failed attempt was because I was tiered after waking up in the middle of the night and I was like "whatever I'm just going to sleep" I think for me it is mostly a matter of will and not so much messing up.

      (sorry for hi-jacking the original post and going off topic)
