My first Lucid Dream, same night i joined dreamviews

I was driving in a hurry to get to an unknown location, racing past cars at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, when suddenly i thought to myself, "This is unusual that i would put my life at risk like this," and realized for the first time, that i must be dreaming. After doing my first reality check and noticing that the clock changed from 1:54 to 1:57, I became lucid. A unique feeling of peace came over me that i had never felt before, and the clarity and vividness of the dream was perhaps the closest to reality i've ever experienced. Unfortunatly, my car immediatly ran out of gas and i pulled into a gas station, however i did not want to waste my freedom filling gas, so i got out and walked to the middle of an open lot. An old man who worked there was watching me very closley. I looked at him and smiled, looked to the sky, and attempted to see if i could fly. The sky was a dark blue but felt like it was about to become illuminated from a source of incredible energy. I jumped as high as i could and slowly floated down. I looked at him again and he had a huge smile on his face and said "I saw that, that was crazy." I looked at him and said, "If you want to see something crazy, watch this." I then ran towards an object that resembled a fire hydrant, jumped off of it, and began to fly in circles around him high in the air. He began to laugh as he watched me fly...I became so moved by the experience that i woke up and was so excited that i could hardly sleep for the next couple days.

      Wow, thats pretty cool.

      Congratulations.

In my first one all I managed was a flying half somersault, then it ended.
These are the tears that I dream about...

Wow that must be an incredible LD! Usually, the first lucid dream only last a couple of seconds....

Wow, that's amazing. It took me two months and 3 LD's to get to the point where I had time to do anything. The feeling you get when you realize you're actually dreaming is pretty incredible, isn't it? Something you just can't know until you experience it. Congratulations, and good luck on future LD'ing!
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.
