      3 experiences of interest.

Here are my most interesting RECENT experiences:

      Waking up and waking up
Most of us have woken up only to find we are still dreaming, but twice now I have had a scary dream in which I wake up in dream over and over and over again. Each time I seem to wakeup in my room, but its rearranged differently. I will be having a dream, then I wake myself up only to find I am asleep. So I wake myself up again and I think I am still awake, but I'm just asleep but in a different setting. This can happen 3 or 4 times. It can be hell sometimes.

I can see, almost if its real
I have had some dreams that are so "detailed" that I consciously look around and can see and focus on different things as if they are there. Usually you think of a dream the next day and it seems a little blurry, or you can have trouble focusing on a particular thing. In some of my dreams I walk around, touch, and can see and identify objects. They are usually just like in real life, with detail and correct color. Often if I am looking in a room there will be slight differences - paintings will be a little different and furniture might have a slightly wrong position, but that is it.

      Reading text
There are some things about dreams that often occur, usually invariably. The first is looking at a watch. The time will usually change randomly, each time you check it. The other is looking at your hands. Apparently your hands will have extra / too little fingers on them. The other is reading. Text usually changes and can be jumbled.
I have an experience where I started to read a National Geographic magazine. I picked the book up, and in slightly large fonts I could read what it said. It was a while a go now so I forget what article it was, but I could see the worlds clearly and read a page or so before being disturbed and awakening.

Who else can share these experiences? Surely a handfull of others must have come across these LD scenarios.

I suppose so. People often say how text is unstable.

your experiences are quite interesting. First of all. Waking up and up is somewhat triggered by some kind of psychological trap you have produced by yourself. In my experience I had same problems during school time, thus was triggered from fact that I didn't want to go to school. My mind made a trick then, I saw repeatedly waking up, preparing for school, and going to school, when I got to school then I woke up again. And 3-4 times like this.

Your vividness in dreams is correct. Actually since our mind draws a picture from what we see then there is no major difference between seeing with your real eyes or mental. Problem is remembering clearly. I guess you have a photographic memory more advanced than others, can you, for example, recall detailed picture from your past? Also your mind makes it real e.g. even if you don't see it as clearly your mind tells it is very clear. I have made many experiments with how detailed everything is and time to time results varies.

Thanks for sharing you reminded me something important.

Thanks for your post! I'm glad what I wrote was useful to you in some way.

Very interesting about the trap you mentioned. I often hate having to get up and get on the bus in the morning (45 minute ride) into the city to go to my school. Maybe that is what causes it.
