Thread: My first lucid dream not to wake up after a minute

The dream started off with the school and the town being abandoned. Like evacuated almost. I was in the school looking for a book I lost, and the school had 3 stories. It should have 2. The power was out all over the small town, and once I left the school I found a riot ensuing. At that point I turned to a friend and told him it was lucid.

We had to spin together to stay in the dream. I remember I was spinning alone, but I was still fading so I told him to spin too. Anyhow we spun to a big empty field by the school track. It was being plowed up by a farmer who didn't leave the town I guess. He was pretty friendly, enough that I could throw clods of dirt at him and my friend could chase him down on his own futuristic looking tractor and turn the old guy's off as a prank. We were just goofing off and plowing the field.

I walked up to the old man and asked him if it was a dream or not. He had a bucket of dirt and a bucket of water. He said "put your hand in the water, and if it comes out wet this is reality and not a dream". I put my hand in, and it was wet, but I knew he was bullshitting me. I kept launching dirt at people, and finally I looked up and one short volley of several hundred dirt clods came from the sky. Then I decided to try some controll, so I picked up a dirt clod and tried to make an ant crawl out of it. It didn't work. Nothing came out of the dirt clod. Shortly after this I woke up.

The next night, I had a NON-lucid dream that I made a girlfriend mad, and my excuse to her was that I wasn't thinking clearly because my lucid dream had made me tired! Grrr...

Pretty interesting LD Mopey Congradulations on your First one there. Just keep that concentration going and belief and Im sure you'll have millions of ants appearing out of thin air.

As I escape into my nebula of shooting stars, all I can think of is that night, we laid open under the stars, counting the stars that fell to earth,
Now just like my open heart falling to the surface and shattering, just so you know, the millions of pieces of shrapnel from my heart rip through my flesh like those words you said that night…-me[/b]
