Sometimes as I'm in the process of wakingup I will gain lucidity for a short time, this may explain your short lucidity. |

I awoke in my bedroom. I thought I was awake but I could sense that something was strange. For some reason I wondered if I was dreaming. I know that its possible to pass through walls in dreams so I put my fingertips to my bedroom window and to my delight and surprise they went through the window. I push myself through the window and I was stood on the roof of the garage. At this point I knew I was dreaming and was totally aware as if I was awake. It was definitely my house but things did look a bit different although I couldn’t say how. I climbed down and there was a blond girl sat on the wall, I approached her and she told me that she had a gift for me. I asked her is she wanted to have sex with me and she laughed and said no. We sat down together on the wall and began to talk. She told me that she had a gift for me once more. She had something in her hand. I asked her if she was a spirit that helped warriors in the dream world (or something like that) and she said that she was. At this point I could feel myself loosing the dream. I found it hard to talk and when I looked at her I could see I was loosing the dream. Somehow I saved it but I was forced to move on. I think that maybe this person’s power was too much for me to handle or that i just wasnt good enough to stay lucid in her presence. I went off and explored my street for a while but do not remember anything from the rest of the dream. |

Whats better than complete freedom from laws, both judicial and physical?
That sounds like a fun dream. It would definitely be cool if you could meet that girl again, and see what happens. I wouldn't worry about the loss of lucidity; early lucid dreams are usually pretty short. With time, they'll naturally become longer, and you'll also remember to use techniques like spinning to stablize the dream. |

Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

I had a dream where I experienced.... the same kind of "loss" you are. I was probably about 14 or 15 or so. I'd been having dreams where I was using "Talents" (supernatural abilities) such as flying and other things for a while and in this particular dream I had to take a test. In front of me was a "moat" (not sure how else to describe it) of lava and I had to fly over it. No problem! Then there was a slab of stone that was kind of blocking my way (I don't recall exactly what its purpose was) and after I went by it I came to the last part of the test. I had to change a red rose and make it silver. I'd never had a dream involving me changing how things looked, so naturally I couldn't do it. After that, for some reason I stopped having so many dreams involving Talents until I came here. I've been having a couple more flying dreams, but I still can't soar like I used to before that test. It still bugs me that I couldn't do it. |

The only gift I want in MY Dream is for the girl to bend over. ITS MY DREAM NOT THERES |

I find it best that when you meet a dream character you will want to see again, ask their name, and hold on to this name when you wake up in the front of your mind until you write it down. Then when you become lucid again you can call their name to conjure them, instead of just hoping from a vague recollection of what they look like. |
